Hi, I am treasurer of GenghisCon this year, a budget geeky convention, running: board gaming, video gaming, roleplaying, panels, VR, a crafters challenge and a Costume Ball. There are trader tables you can spend money at, but if you bring a packed lunch, you can enjoy activities without taking out your wallet. This year we plan to have a t-shirt making panel for people who want a Convention shirt but want to get hands-on or don't want to pay Red Bubble prices. The 2024 GenghisCon will be held at the Telethon Speech and Hearing near Lake Monger.
I've been told since I am associated, this should be posted as a "deal". The rest of the committee and I raise money at Bunnings sausage sizzles to sell tickets well below cost. Even the regular price of $30 for a Friday ticket is relatively affordable compared to everything else these days.

No one wants to come with me to this, should I still go?
