Not a bad phone considering it’s screen refresh rate goes up to 144 Hz and 68W charging.
Comes with A12 but gsmarena says planned upgrade to A13.

2 year old phone
Imo $900 is an ok price. The performance is decent, the build quality is nice (it even has the same texture as my pixel 8 pro back glass.. which I absolutely hate haha) and the charging speeds is absolutely nuts with 68w charging.
I would have liked a slightly better camera and wireless charging as well, but even at $900 it's a fair tradeoff.
Also it's survived the abuse dished out by toddlers, unfortunately the glass was no match for a 2 year old "yeeting" it off the top bunk against a window. Lesson learnt about leaving the work phone in toddlers reach!
1/2 price is decent you mean. Nothing wrong with this phone at this price. I would have bought this but missed the good price. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/797944
Should have A13 already, my Pro does.
I don’t mind people dishing out this phone for being an old phone but with the specs it has, its a decent phone for that price. Says half price but ig nobody’s going to buy this for a full price.
Kind of, I was trying to say that even at full price it's still fairly decent value for money (but not what I would call a bargain), especially when you consider what you get. At $450 it's a bargain.
I kicked myself when I looked at that exact post when buying mine recently, regardless still very happy with it at the current price which is the same as what I paid a month ago
good price a year ago; got 30 pro (dual sim) for less
Waiting for $199
absolutely, they are selling 2 year model with old android software without any future upgrades .. !!! so not worth more then $199
Had to buy an edge 40 the other day for 499, almost shat myself when I saw this pop up
edge 40 is worth 699 as of today … so you should be happy saving !!
For local pricing perhaps, but compared to Xiaomi import value, na not worth it when I'm paying to get the same performance out of the Motorola 2.5 years after I bought the Xiaomi…
*its
it's almost a good description
Didn't the edge 30 fusion get as cheap as about 350?
Last moto edge 30 sale I saw on ozbargins, I ended up looking on eBay and getting an edge 30 pro for $360 second hand
Overall been happy with it. (Moving from an s21)
I picked one up for $386 in June.
Good phone for performance battery and screen. Small gripe is a sloppy sim tray that drops sims.
Nah, it should be around 299 by now
This vs g84?

This link provides you the difference. I’d choose this over G84 albeit G84 is the latest among these two.
Chip, Photo/Video, Charging and many more is topped by this. Consider your budget, longevity of the phone and your lifestyle to choose one.
If I had to choose one for overall performance, I’d go with this.
Can it make phone calls??
It performs excellently as phone for talking… It not only makes calls it can receive them as well ;-)
I find it swaps seamlessly between vowifi & volte on amaysim at my place. Whereas a friend with a samsung gets a lot of missed bits and partial drops with amaysim at my place. The sammy works better with vowifi turned off.
Thx mate, seems everyone is so preoccupied with frame rates, processor power etc, they forget the fundamental purpose of the device is to make and receive phone calls!
If we just need something for phone calls and text messages, we shouldn't be in this thread in the first place.
wow … just to sell this old model JB increase price of Edge 40 to 699 from 499 … so that people buy this 2 year old phone thinking it is boxing day deal .. lol
Any trade in bonus deals with JB right now?
Half price, $900 rrp with 128gb?
