Didn't realise. Post updated.
Noticed these in store last week and chose the Jabra Elite 7 Active instead
Wow just had a skim through some reviews. AirPods 2 seems inferior compared to Jabra. Good job!
How good is this for a person not really into music and no need for noise cancellation?
Perfect because they are rubbish for both of the above use cases.
If you have an iPhone and want something mostly for making and taking calls these are great.
Great!
Great for podcasts (what I use mine for)
So spoken words sound really well with these?
Yes, spoken word is the main use case.
Not great for noisy environments though as no seal from outside noise, so less useful on the train etc.
@Master Bates: Perfect for the intended use then.
Thanks for the reply.
@sh4hp: I have the 2nd Gen, 3rd Gen and a pair of Sony WF-1000XM3. Use cases as follows:
@Master Bates: They've got you hook line and sinker
@justtoreply: True, sucked in hard.
@Master Bates: That's a lot of earpods.
They're fantastic if you own everything Apple. It is seamless to switch between your Mac, iPhone and Apple TV.
Sound quality is excellent unless of course you're comparing it to $300+ headphones or earphones.
Why did this get downvoted lol
what about Nothing Ear Stick for around $95?
seems to be a good alternative earphone style TWS. app has full EQ control and they got ANC through a firmware update (probably not as effective as in-ear ANC though).
I think I will stick with $25 to $30 TWS because if I step on them they are gone. but an alternative suggestion to conventional "airpods".
QCY T13 are really great, quality well beyond their price bracket…
Also at Big W at this price if that's more convenient for you.
Same price at Officeworks, so won't be able to price-beat
