Seems like they have dropped the price on this model at officeworks again. The price drop didn't last for too long last time so I assume it'll be gone again before Christmas.

Had a 34" va Dell and that was great. Can only imagine how much nicer this would be !
45" non curved for racing might be a struggle but as far as VA goes people must have owned 5 years old VA panels the way they talk about them on here. I've owned 2 in the last year and generally the smearing was barely noticeable even when I tried to make it noticable by shaking my screen around. The viewing angles were also fine.
It is curved at 1500r kind sir. tips hat
Oh it is too my bad, should be okay then it just looks really flat to me in the image
I have the Xiaomi 34" Ultra wide curved VA monitor and it does the job perfectly fine. I think you will be very happy with this. Paid $610 for mine in 2020 I think.
Panel: VA
Backlight: WLED
Response Time: 1ms (MPRT) / 4ms (Level 4) / 7ms (Level 3) / 9ms (Level 2) / 12ms (Level 1)
Refresh Rate: 165Hz / 170Hz (Overclock)
Brightness: 450 cd/m²
Contrast Ratio: 3000:1
Color Gamut: 99% sRGB, 90% DCI-P3I had to return the monitor because Lenovo's new bracket system did not align with the VESA Mount or any other bracket I tried. Unfortunately, Lenovo has introduced a new design for their VESA Mount. Despite my attempts with three different brackets, I found the process too time-consuming, and I eventually gave up as it wasn't worth the effort. The enjoyment diminished, and now I'm considering the Samsung G9 49 OLED, hoping it goes on sale.
I was wondering if 49" would be too much screen for my own good.
Kinda weird you were facing issues with mounting. Got mine mounted to two different 100x100 Vesa mount arms (old amazon mount + Ergotron HX) and both work fine & aligned well. G9 49 OLED would be a step up for sure though.
No G-Sync for both of them tho….
No G-Sync hardware but it's G-sync compatible based on my tests.
Issue was this was for my Sim rig and Lenovos new VESA Design is too small to get the screws inside, plus also when I powered the screen on there were lines in the screen, which also led to the return, mind you this was brand new and I know that can happen but. The idea of making it something worthwhile quickly diminished.
I think the lines thing would be a bigger issue than any compatibility problems… so, fair.
$1000 for something that is 24” height, seems weird to me, each to their own I guess
isnt cheaper getting 2 24inch bent (curved) ones
It would be cheaper getting two 32 inch ones, actually you could probably get 3 32 inch qhd monitors at this price or not much more. Just isn't the same experience though this serves a different purpose or serves the same purpose but "better" for some people.
not really. you have to run doble the cables or triple. you can mount this on 1 monitor arm.
Ugh been looking for a monitor for my sim rig and thought something in this size was out of my budget but this could do
How does VA panels with viewing angles go on such a wide monitor?
