    Where is OzBargainOptimizer?

    "Total Worth $1,260". yup!

This looks like the list of bloatware I used to uninstall from Grandma's computer back in the day when she would complain that it was too slow.

You'd have to pay me to use your software…

  • +6

    Mostly unnecessary bloatware.

How can anyone honestly upvote this? At best you're better off with open source alternatives, at worst it's crapware that is literally worse than nothing.

I use both AOMEI Backupper and Ashampoo Backup Pro and they both work well. Backup Pro can be buggy at times, but the developer is always quick to respond to support requests. Personally, I don't get the big deal about open source software. If I find an app to useful, I'll use it whether it is open source or not.

If you are better off with open source, can you recommend some alternatives that will do the same job as the ones I listed?

  • Ashampoo Backup Pro 15 isn't shown on the calendar Photo Stamp Remover is shown on the 18/12 ??

Such optimizer is really useless, just looks like working by showing something has been cleaned.

    • Well it's not just optimisers. For example, there are some nice backup apps too.

  • Never heard of any of them.

  • 27/12 - VPN unlimited???? Really???

    Pimping this garbage since 2016.

  • Perhaps add blue Iris to the list 😆

  • Kris Kringle sorted

  • All stuff if i saw on a PC that came in i'd remove as snakeoil (any "cleaner" or "optimizer") or next to useless/pointless because there was a better completely free version than the "lite" version of this stuff

  • There is some genuinely useful software here. For example, AOMEI Backupper is on the best backup apps and is what I use to backup my system. For many people, the free version is all they need, but the Paid version does include the ability to create bootable recovery media, which is nice. I use Ashampoo Backup as too, to backup some files to the cloud. I have used some of the other apps being given away too.

The idea that all of these apps are garbage is just ridiculous.

  • For once I came here today for Iobit Uninstaller 13 Pro

turns out the OP wrote wrong, and Iobit Uninstaller 13 Pro was actually yesterday LoL. AND neg for that wrong description

I guess waste for me then, forgot to come during aomei (was my fault on that one)
