But hey… this giant slab of grey bricks is easily one of the best UCS sets of all-time (certainly one of the most-detailed and sleek with all of those external plate pieces and minimal studs). It looks a lot cooler in-person and The Razor Crest hasn't been on sale since about August.

It's not the all-time low of $687 but Lego should have plenty of stock unlike Amazon when they have fire sales on popular Lego sets. Plus you'll rack up a hefty amount of Lego VIP points.

I believe this deal is only for Cyber Monday but could be wrong?

    It's pretty much in line with Lego's historical pricing for sets with this piece count/dimensions. I expect it might eventually drop to low $600s or exactly $600 in Australia before being retired, which is usually the maximum discount for UCS sets (~33%).

  One of the guys at work won one of these in a raffle last year … his wife said to him so which of our kids are you going to give this to for Christmas? His reply was "f#@k off! this is mine".

  I don't understand the price of these kits at all… I have the razor quest, looks to be the same size as this one, but I'm pretty sure it was well under $200 AUD - "normal kit".
  What's so good about these ultimate sets that they're worth three times the price for 20% more pieces?

    Vs

    Not to mention the detail in the UCS
