10H Mr Fix is still going strong for me after 6 months. Application, flashing and wipe off was pretty good too.

    • Can you please share the link

      • +3

It's available on eBay. It was ~$15.80 minus $5 monthly eBay plus. Marketed for cars but works perfectly fine on shower glass.

        • If I have found the one you are talking about, it is 30ml for $15 (after $5), whereas this deal is 500ml. Granted that the 10H goes a lot further per ml, is it at least 1/3rd of the deal? (To roughly equate to the same price?).

Edit: having said that, the turtle wax deal from September this year was around $25 for 475ml…

          • @anthman: A drop of ceramic coating goes a long way.

          • @anthman: can you please link it?

Is it the blue or black bottle?

            • @Suspect420: Type "turtle wax ceramic" in ozbargain search, first result.

              @Suspect420: I'd like to know also. There is a 10H and a 9H

        • $8.48 on Temu (Use the website - not the app)

    • Can I do 2x showers with one set of 10h mr fix?

      • Plus another 2 average sized cars.

        • Awesome.
Will it work with bathroom mirrors as well?

          • @gembel: Haven't tried it but it's just glass with a silver backing so sure, why not.

It's all about the preparation. The glass need to be super super clean prior to application.

            • @MS Paint: Any tips to prepare shower glass?

              • +3

@gembel: You need to have it clean but free from other ingredients, like bottled shower cleaner. Clean it however you normally would to get rid of the bulk scum. I then used water and 0000 steel wool for a deep clean. Then wipe over with IPA (isopropyl alcohol) for mostly contamination free glass. Then apply MrFix. Follow their instructions in the packaging. I applied 2 coats 24h apart.

    • Agree, Mr Fix is the best. Easily lasts 5yrs+ and helps water bead off. Tip is to not apply too much else you'll get streaks. I went a bit heavy on my white cars but fortunately the paint colour hides my imperfections well.

I wasn't game enough to try it on my new red car but instead opted for Turtle Wax Ice Seal n Shine which seems to be pretty good. $30 from eBay delivered and a top performer, easier to apply and more forgiving for newbies. Graphene coatings are meant to be the new replacement for ceramic coatings. Will see…

    • do you apply to both sides of the glasS?

      • I just did the inside. I don't get water or soap scum on the outside (unless I've been showering wrong all this time?)

Nothing stopping you from doing both sides though.

    • Ebay link to the one you bought?

  • protect your glass surfaces against everyday wear nad tear

    Is this similar to Enduroshield?

Are people suggesting that Mr Fix 10H is cheaper and better?

    • +1

I would like to know as well.

Which Mr Fix 10H ebay seller is reputable?

    • +1

Wanting to get one , can someone share the link ?

  • If people know the cost price of these chemicals direct from DuPont etc they'll be shocked

  • Got an offer from an eBay seller for the 10h. $8 down from $17. Will give it a try though looking for info on the product there's none on 10h, only see 9h. And 9h seems to have had issues with fake products in the past. Still $8 worth a try maybe.

    • 9H is the same thing. I used 9H

      • I see. Thanks!

    • I'll take 10 bottles of Mr Fix 9H instead… At about $6-8 per bottle the price vs performance is phenomenal. If you park your car in a garage as well then it'll last ages.
