  It's decent. Only played it twice so far. Don't get why you'd go to a two dice game unless there's enough players though. We removed some cards to stop players overloading on cards that are too powerful and try force a two dice game so it wasn't boring. It's prone to repetitive tactics with only two people

    One dice is definitely a strategy without expansions in the normal game but once you add the expansion you definitely want to get to two dice eventually, because some of the cards are brutal and change the game quickly.

    With expansions the marketplace is also random which makes it harder. One of my all time favourite board games. The harbour expansion makes this game that much better.

  Great game. Have prob played it 50+ times. The game is much better with the harbour expansion.

    I couldn't find anything in the description describing what's special about the 5th anniversary edition, couldn't find a 2nd edition either.

      5th edition has proper coins, can't remember if they are plastic or metal, but the original edition (which I have) has cardboard coins.

      2nd edition incorporates a key rule change that turned up in the expansions that we used to play with 1st edition with a bit of extra setup work. I didn't like any of the expansions, so base game 2nd edition is the one to have.

  Not sure what's wrong with me but i really couldn't figure out how to play this one … seems to get great reviews though so i don't know how i failed so hard at understanding it.
