The one day a year this goes on sale. Basically gives you the same features of a plex pass, but with Emby instead.

Jellyfin. It’s a fork of Emby after they started close sourcing the open source community code.
I think plex is more polished of the three - you'd hope so given how long it's been around. But I've been enjoying Emby so far and find it quicker to load and search things than plex.
Found Jellyfin to be quite basic. Emby at least has paid Devs so it's getting new features consistently.
Love Emby. Not quite as slick as Plex in places but gives you a bit more control (especially over transcoding)
Does emby have variable speed playback for movies?
Mine is always buffering eventhough I am on 250/50 nbn especially trying to watch in 4k
You realise playing your local media has nothing to do with your internet speed right?
Definitely an issue in your config/hardware/network.
Does Emby have a better android app then Plex?
I have been plagued lately with out of sync audio on Plex.
Definately the best android tv app i found.
Why have they misspelled "Premier"?
BTW, Jellyfin and Tailscale can do it for free ;)
So Plex is cheaper with current sale at ~$120.
So… this, or Plex?
(or Jellyfin)
