  I bought a few of these a while back to charge my camera and raspberry pi. Long story short they're so poorly made they don't provide sufficient voltage through the cable.

      It's not worth it (it would cost me more to send it back/or they would send out the same faulty model as both were the effected)

    I'm using a Meritline one to charge my Logitech mouse, as the cable is thinner and more flexible than the original one. Means I can actually move the mouse while it charges… seems OK for that, but I dunno what current the mouse is pulling.

    I agree with davo. Tried charging and kept thinking it was my usb adaptrr that was the problem. Didnt think these cables be dodgy but the both i recieved dont charge very well.

      The wire gauge they use in the cable must be far too small to carry a sufficient voltage.

        Yep, if you read the reviews for the longer micro usb cables they sell the dissatisfaction level just grows. For any phone or tablet that draws a significant amount of current the gauge of wire is clearly too small, so the voltage drops and the battery barely charges. I have bought a few little micro and mini usb plug adapters over time that I use with decent full size cables. Better idea than these I reckon.

  I don't wish to negate this offer but I did get them earlier and not happy with them. They are ok to copy files but they do not charge. One of the cables stopped working a week later.
