Hi all, just found this deal at my local Total Tools (McGraths Hill in Sydney). They had a big box of these near the entrance to the store. They seem well made and the price is great. The link is to the pliers but shows the regular price which is $92.60. Not sure if this is in other stores as I cant find any reference to these pliers at this price elsewhere.
Cheers

Cheers for sharing mate.
FYI, next time you should probs also black out inv number and order number.
Not saying anything will happen but this info can be used by bad actors to get refund or store credit by returning stolen goods or products past return timeframe.
Called my local and he said its $92.
Called Syd store OP mentioned and they are indeed $35 on special.. reason given was low stock run out sale and this store had too many vs everyone else. However, if I do a stock check they are coming up everywhere well in Victoria.
Going to try and give online store a call. Insight consumer law and see if I can get my local or online to sort it out so I can end up paying the Sydney price. I'll keep you guys posted
Sounds like a lot of effort for some T&G pliers. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. OP is the winner in this case.
Agree.
Some bloke in another thread spent 30 minutes on the phone to save $7. Around here, people do the least-optimised things to "save" the smallest amount of money.
People with crippling sale addiction flock to OzB and buy random sh despite not needing them and end up spending more sometimes lol
Update.. online are not having it and saying they dont price match their own stores.
Also using BS excuse that its interstate.
Having said that.. ACCC says
If more than one price is displayed for an item, the business must charge the lowest price, or stop selling the item until the price is corrected.
And online isn't displaying that price, so what's the issue?
Its instore price mate.
@vash5: Yes, exactly the point
@mickeyjuiceman: Yes mate, but Other Syd store's are $92 with McGraths Hill being the exception. So my point still stands.. two prices, same store chain.. not passing the pub test.
Total Tools is a franchise business model if that makes any difference.
Yes, but all of them need to adhere to a set of standards and consumer law. All good 👍
Photo of the promo? Store receipt? Thanks. Good price
