I've been using these lasercut screwdrivers for years as an electrician, the phillips head screwdrivers bite into old screws better than any other one I've tried. For $34, these are really a great deal.

Buy 3 for each room too!
Shieee got the non-vde for the same price not long ago.
This week is a dangerous week to go on OZBARGAIN. Thanks op
100% im usually good at keeping my money but this week its leaving my account quickly Great find OP :)
I wonder how these would compare to the Trojan ones from Bunnings for $29.98 or the 6 Piece Craftright for $9.98 ??? Neither have racks included.
You can't beat a good rack.
Wera are much much better than cheap chinese brands. I run mostly Wera/Knipex/Bahco stuff in my kit. I've seen a fair bit of Wera stuff on the workshop guys desks.
I like the Lasercut heads, really grips the heads.
Do you use Wiha too?
Nah no Wiha yet.
I have had all the cheap screwdriver sets over the years from bunnings. One day I bought a Wera philips head laser cut screwdriver and I can tell you it is ridiculously better. I think I paid close to $35 for the one screwdriver but omg the difference is amazing.
Same…
After my first set, I was saying toyalf…why did I frustratingly piss around with those cheaper dodgy sets, should have just got a good decent set to begin with, the tears of the expense would have quickly diminished
Hard to say no. Didn't.
Got a set even I don’t really need it!
Exactly, 95% of the time I could only use one of the two Phillips heads. Bought anyway 😂
Do these represent a "normal" spread of sizes for electrical work?
Yes definitely. The first to lose is always the small terminal driver so guard that closely.
Great price. My Wera/Knipex tool obsession continues.
is this set/brand good? sorry for a noob question
It’s Wera so you can’t go wrong.
Not sure these are German made Wera but seems to be.thanks, bought.
Wera is usually made, I think, in Czech but these could be German made.
Knipex is definitely made in Germany.
So we all qualified to become an electrician now?
We need it to install this power outlet hot.
Are these still worth getting for non-electrical use?
I would get this Stanley set for general use - more variety and have been standard forever https://www.totaltools.com.au/10751-stanley-14-piece-screwdr…
what, they took out the mini screwdriver set (which admittedly sucks) but kept the moulding in place for future-readiness?
Get the green ones without insulation.
What's the difference between the two other than the electrical stuff?
You don't get that electrical tester thing (imo I think it's useless) , and you can squeeze the screwdriver into tighter holes without the insulation.
Thanks Op.
For the average person, are there any variations of this that have a case to store these?
Is this suitable for a set of screwdriver just for the random at home use, furniture assembly or screwing any loose screws? Or is it for more electric specific use?
It's just normal screwdriver sizes, but with insulation. It's not a great set for regular use, only 2 philips and the rest flat heads which aren't as common for regular use. I'd pass.
Ok, thank you!
Years from now, they're gonna ask us, "why didn't we buy a nice house?" We're gonna say " We opened www.ozbargain.com.au"….. LOL….
BTW, it is a modified script from Transformer Movie though.
Damn thats an awesome price for this set, shame i missed out.
Me too :(
Good find. I don't need another set…but if I get a set for inside, I wouldn't need to go to the garage…
