57% off Kingston 120GB SSD. Used these plenty of times and never had issues. Great as a boot drive for older computers where you have a second+larger hard drive for storage purposes.

If someone tries to tell you a Monte Carlo is better, tell'em they're dreaming.

These are also fantastic for Raspberry Pis. Much better and faster than an internal SD and won't wear out with write cycles.

  • It is brave that Amazon lists A400 as TLC. The 480GB version hasn't been TLC for a year now. 120GB could still be TLC given it is quite small.

If you do get Kingston A400, I recommend you run the flash utility to check whether it is QLC or TLC. While QLC SSDs can be used (I do use them, I think I got the 480GB version for $29 early this year (QLC version)), the price needs to reflect that. I do hope 120GB is too small for Kingston to do the NAND swap.

They could brand it with Call of Duty stuff and sell as dedicated for weekly Warzone updates. Perfect size.

  • waiting for 240gb at this price.

    • FYI, one of the Centrecom stores had 240GB WD Green SATA SSD for $10 one weekend (could be Friday to Sunday), a few months ago (in store only though).
