  • This or Kingston Fury?

    • yes

This is worse than KC3000 and Fury

      • Why?

The T500 has better performance numbers on paper, but worse endurance:

Crucial T500 Kingston KC3000 Kingston Fury Renegade
        Sequential Write (MB/s) 7000 7000 7000
        Sequential Read (MB/s) 7400 7000 7300
        Random Write (IOPS) 1,440,000 1,000,000 1,000,000
        Random Read (IOPS) 1,180,000 1,000,000 1,000,000
        Endurance (TBW) 1200 1600 2000
        DRAM Yes Yes Yes

I think the T500's 1200 TBW is still high enough for most users to not be concerned about.

I'd consider all three of these high-end SSDs to perform very well and similarly to each other, but shouldn't the T500 still be better?

The T500 also uses the newer Phison E25 controller and Micron 232L TLC NAND,
whereas KC3000 and Fury uses the older Phison E18 controller and Micron 176L TLC NAND.
I'm not really sure which controller is better, but I think the 232L NAND is better than 176L NAND.

Newer does not necessarily mean better
