Would appear to be global - the Harvey Norman website is already advertising substantially cheaper prices for both HP Desktops and Ultrabooks.
ummmm, dear markis10 ,don't you think you asked so many questions?. i posted this deal during my tea break just to share with my fellow ozbargainers. yes i am at work. please think about others sometimes not just about you.have a nice day
Lol, so we can't ask questions now?
However sensationalism is not a requirement is it? IS IT??? IS IT??????!!!!!!!!!
HN Singapore??? come on man
yeah, i agree with bonbon,, every ozbargainers responsibility to do a follow-up research on every post here. It's not entirely the poster's duty to give all the details.

Well no, the deal poster is supposed to post all the relevant details, and this one has barely any. What's the point of having a description, if it has no actual relevant facts to help the reader?
It should be less about "Oh, I'll post this before anyone else can, even if it is half-arsed" and more about "I'll post this with all the details, to do it properly, and not dick people around."
Some people don't sit around all day inside their blacked out computer closets, thus people that work/people that can use google search.
These people just appreciate the fact this theearth has taken the time to bother posting something that most people would not otherwise have seen.
Ah crap, reading the title I hoped this would be HN Singapore. Turns out it isn't!

You can check prices and stock availability on the HN website!
Don't bother going to the QV Melbourne store without checking stock availability online. QV's in-store ultrabook range is looking pretty low at the moment.

does the online price already have the discount factored in?
yes it appears to.
Another week, another sale at Harvey Norman…….
This ultrabook has a hybrid HDD 500GB SATA & 24GB SSD:

This recent deal http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/80730 is offering at a lower price for $635 and free shipping. I thought the deal was expired, but it appears to be still going.
Wondering if OfficeWorks sell this.. so I could get further 5% off :)
Maybe they could refund my credit card purchase first from the previous deal I tried to buy last week, but was told was cancelled due to being "out of stock"…
Offer ends 8 October 2012

Whats with Intel i5-3315U for the Samsung NP530U3C-A03? Never heard of a i5-3315U before, is it supposed to be the i5-3317U with 1.70 GHz and 2.6 GHz Turbo Boost?
