Sorry mate, you dont have to be rude when answering questions related to your post. He is just saying it doesnt look like a deal. If you explain him whats the retail price and how much would this deal save him….would help not just him but anyones reading this post
I agree with Dosada, not worth the money, batteries are rubbish, screen brightness is poor and not really that rugged, from what i have used over the years. Great service though.
sorry i did not mean to be rude
here is the explanation
Latitude is the mid tier business laptop mean for travelling salesperson
Precision top tier, Vostro 3rd
they are either tuned for performance like precision or long battery life like vostro/latitude
the motherboard is of expensive kind so they cost more than home models
gaming laptop are not comparable as they generate heat while used, the dedicated gpus for gaming make battery lasts shorter than these business ones as they need for all day work
support from dell mean next day at your purchase address with technician ready to replace components after online diagnosis
IMHO so not worth the money. Sub par screen, 8gb ram, pathetic sizes ssd.
But it does have Windows Pro and an ethernet port. Almost impossible to find on any other laptops.
Dongle
Latitude 3000 series is the entry enterprise product. It won't be much better than Lenovo E/L series, at the the Lenovo have 300 nits screen for a lot of their models. You will have to go to 5000 series for basic Lenovo T series quality…and then 7000 series for premium quality laptops (which they don't come cheap).
If it is truly brand new (i.e. cancelled order and not open box returned), $1000 is not bad with 3 years on-site warranty.
Anyone like it small check out these as new 14 inch latitude from outlet

that one not as new
Thanks will not buy
I currently have 11th gen 1135G7 and looking to upgrade to 12 or 13th gen to increase my work productivity
@Homr: upgrade 8gb ram $40 use portable ssd or usb for storage and the $1059 is ideal
people who use laptop/desktop for work use portable storage most the time
@Homr: if you are working in multimedia check this out
https://www.dell.com/en-au/outlet/refurbished-precision-15-3…
precision price though
nvidia T550 worth around 800$
the discount price = free gpu
@Homr: If you're really looking for an upgrade over 11th gen, I'd get a system with an AMD Zen 4 processor like the R7-7840U.
It will perform similarly to 13th gen, but with better battery life.
Do you know Deon Hong?
sorry i am not associated with anyone. i am a lonely pesioner
Are you looking for love on ozbargain?
i have a daughter overseas at the moment
Are you offering?
@carlJack: just a bit curious…
@carlJack: my daughter is under 21yo
studying too hard to chat with me so here i am
you go look somewhere else
Is there much difference between i5-1335u and 1350p?
looks like 1350P is much better. 12 cores vs 10 cores
But look at the power 15w vs 28w.
Which might be important for battery life on a laptop.

Current Lenovo Black Friday offers seem much better to me. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/811251 Much better specs for about the same price, also including 3 year warranty.
some not all lenovo have fix soldered ram/ssd slot reducing upgrade option. their warranty are back to depot/mail-in for most models
Yes, but if the soldered ram is 32GB (like in the deal in the comments there), you're not going to need upgrade it in a hurry. And the offered 3 year warranty in that deal is actually onsite. And extra $26 for a 3 year battery warranty sounds like a deal to me.
some computer users upgrade ram with matching pair
https://www.crucial.com/blog/memory/mix-and-match-dram
the lenovo above offers 16gb ram upgradable to 32gb(recommended) dual channels
https://www.crucial.com/articles/about-memory/what-is-dual-c…
max installable ram on dell 64gb home models, 128gb gaming and business, 256 for mobile work station and 512 for "desktop" work station
lenove solder ram/ssd so when you want to upgrade it's buying another pc/laptop "preferably" their own brand
Price DROPPED on the i7
Correct me if I’m wrong but these don’t look like a deal at these prices, even if they were brand new. Am I missing something?
