Good luck finding it girls, as over 90% of AU population is vaxxed.

    The dailymail is crap

    • +13

The forum post could stop right here.

The National Enquirer in the US was known for running bogus stories like "World War 2 Bomber found on Moon". Which was then followed up by "World War 2 Bomber on moon gone". During an interview they asked the guy who owned it if he ever felt guilty about these ludicrous stories and he said "the paper costs a dollar and you need to be able to read, both those things should preclude anyone believing anything we publish".

Googling that quite doesnt have any results.

It sounds like it could be true, but that doesnt mean it is.

Did you make it up? Or get it slightly wrong?

        Its very amusing.

    • Mind control for idiots.

Do you have a concern with this part of the article?

Users of Mr Rinaldi's group share this false idea, with posts linking the Covid shot to sperm death and other vaccine-related misinformation.

      Or this part?

'There is absolutely no reason to be worried about fertility with the Covid-19 vaccine,' said Dr Lanny Wilson, chair of obstetrics and gynecology at Avalon University School of Medicine in Youngstown, Ohio, emphasizing that vaccines 'do not cause infertility and they do not affect fertility one way or the other.'

Speakers for itself, these women cannot find sperm donors because no one wants to breed with them for a very good reason.

            • +4

@TrumpisKing: Nothing? Look up the number of deaths per 100k people in the US and here. Look up the studies that show it's effectiveness, the impact of the shot on mortality trends. How can someone have these beliefs when there's so much evidence in front of them, I'll never know.

              • -2

@Rick Sanchez: The corona virus killed 1% of the world's population.
How you think that it was necessary to stop the world and force people to have a fake jab is beyond me.
You can believe what you want, but reality speaks louder 🤷🤷

                • +2

@TrumpisKing: Dont you know…taking advice from fake idiots w/ no qualifications rather than real experts from real universities is far more intelligent.

Ask this question in a different way, would you let the same covid anti vaxer do a brain surgery operation on your kid ? oF course you wouldnt and yet these idiots take other medical advice from them.

@Rick Sanchez: No mate. Not even close.
Before after, it's all the same. Covid has never and will never be anything more than a little inconvenience. Unfortunately there will always be little people like you who will believe every lie the government tells them and take anything without question because "it's for the greater good" and blindly follow.
Just use your Brain and think: when in history has the government EVER had the people's best interest at heart? Never.

Also. The common flu kills more people every year than covid ever will in history. Wake up 🤡

                • +2

@TrumpisKing: They weren't killed by Covid, they simply died of what caused their death, while also Covid positive.

They can't even be sure about that either, as many Covid tests kits during 2020 and 2021 were returning positive Covid results for what was actually the common cold and multiple flu variants, too.

                  • +1

@infinite: Exactly mate. But I don't bother to go too in-depth with people like Rick because he's blind to reality anyway 🤣🤣🤷.
The common cold/flu kills more people every year than covid will ever do in history. And that's just one thing. Imagine the hundred of other viruses and bacterias out there.

                    • @TrumpisKing: Pity about those pesky excess death statistics innit? The hospitals that were overrun at the height of the pandemic and the bodies stored in vans because they couldn’t bury them quickly enough.

                      https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseas…

                      Coronavirus vs. Flu Deaths

                      COVID-19: Current COVID-19 deaths*

Flu: The World Health Organization estimates that 290,000 to 650,000 people die of flu-related causes every year worldwide.

The COVID-19 situation continues to change, sometimes rapidly. Doctors and scientists are working to estimate the mortality rate of COVID-19. At present, it is thought to be substantially higher (possibly 10 times or more) than that of most strains of the flu.

The hospitals that were overrun at the height of the pandemic and the bodies stored in vans because they couldn’t bury them quickly enough.

Where did that happen in Australia ?

Doctors and scientists are working to estimate the mortality rate of COVID-19. At present, it is thought to be substantially higher (possibly 10 times or more) than that of most strains of the flu.

We've recorded no deaths at all in Australia in 2023, that COVID was the cause of. We've only recorded deaths where Covid was found and listed as an underlying cause (an underlying condition is any condition you have at all, or injury, or laceration you have when you die - UC's are never the cause of death when you die). The cause of death for almost every last one of those people was heart attack, cancer or a pre-existing chronic fatal condition. Those that weren't were due to car accidents and the like. The Australian Federal Govt's own department of health have changed Covid reporting to ensure that is reflected too, listing any Covid death as a "COVID-19 associated death" : https://www.health.gov.au/topics/covid-19/reporting and to ensure people understand that the 2019-2022 death's were the same, they specifically include a disclaimer in the title of any such reporting that states "Factors such as other disease or chronic conditions may also have contributed to or caused deaths associated with COVID-19".

There's absolutely no point every getting anxious or screechy about Covid if you are under the age of Retirement in Australia, either. There's been less than 100 people (in total) under the age of retirement so far in 2023 who have died or been killed while also Covid positive. Covid was not listed as the cause of death for any of them. Or for that matter, anyone over that age either.

                        • +1

@infinite: What lies you spread, so blatantly untrue. COVID-19 related deaths are still being reported in Australia, even if it isn't front page news anymore: https://www.health.gov.au/topics/covid-19/reporting#covid19-…

                          • @aisling: Covid-related doesn't mean a death caused by Covid, it simply means they had Covid when they died from what ever their fatal condition or event was.

People who died in car accidents, industrial injuries, choked, were poisoned and all sorts of actual causes of death are included in those numbers. None of them died from Covid either.

It's pretty amazing your trying to spread medical misinformation in this day and age.

@Rick Sanchez: It is toxic sludge. Unfortunately this sort of stuff seems to be attractive to mentally ill people and can have tragic outcomes. A lot of the instigators of these conspiracy theories have found a way to monetise gullibility with their media “networks”. I have a healthy skepticism about things, but I apply the “logic” filter over any claims. What is the science telling us. Why do people behave in the way they do? Where is the money?

            • +1

              @try2bhelpful:

What is the science telling us.

When faced with evidence of actual scientific fraud in another covid related thread, you retreated into denial, literally refusing to view the evidence. That is completely unscientific, and it's disgusting that you pretend to speak as a voice of scientific reason. You, like the very worst of us, are rationalizing your own beliefs, full of tacit assumptions, and defending this stance with denial - the strongest shield we invoke to ignore our cognitive dissonance.

              • +2

@ssfps: And we are looking at another stream of invective and insults with no independent studies to show your idea is valid. As I keep saying, ad nauseam, we have accepted the logic and science and moved on. I’m putting forward the rational argument. Frankly your insults are like water off a ducks back, they detract from any point you might be trying to make.

              • @ssfps: They also posted links to "the science" which were articles that inferred men could get pregnant as well as women……….

They don't even understand what science is.

        • +2

It's an amusing term that fairly accurately captures the idea that some people had untested pharmaceuticals injected into them, and others didn't.

          • -1

@ssfps: And what was the outcome of these ‘experimental vaccines’? It’s well documented and pretty clear that it was the right decision.
Lower vaccination rates (and awful public health system) resulted in the US having about 10x the amount of Covid deaths than in Australia. This eclipses the number of people who actually experienced a side effects from the vaccine.
Honestly, this has all been debunked.

            • +3

@Rick Sanchez: You can be the sucker next time that volunteers to take the gamble with the experimental vaccine, hoping the vaccine developers got it right.

              • @bigticket: Lets see, who should we trust for medical advice.

The people of universities like Harvard, Oxford or Cambridge who for a 1000 years discovered many things and delivered countless inventions and medicines which demonstrate they actually know how to use their knowledge…

or people like bigticket who have given humanity ….

                • +3

@CowFrogHorse: Let's see, who should we trust..

Big pharmaceutical companies who time and time again have proven they will act in the interest of profits over the safety of people, deliberately & manipulatively.

Or politicians and doctors who are paid very handsomely by these companies.

                  Oh wait…

                  • @basilv: @Basilv

I agree big pharma are heartless and greedy. but lets be fair they do provide products that are scientifically proven to work.

Fake medicine and conspiracy preachers are no different, they are just selling something else to make their money.

All things considered therse only one choice to sselect if you want help the later will only take your money and give you nothing or worse they will sell you poison or death.

            • -3

@Rick Sanchez: America has around 14x the population of Australia, so per capita they actually had significantly less deaths involving people who were also Covid positive at the time. The deaths per capita were higher for those vaxxed than weren't and the gap between those groups is now increasing at an alarming rate due to the side effects of the jab & boosters causing early onset heart attacks and ruining people's immune systems.

              • @infinite: It would help if you had anything to back this up from a reputable peer reviewed set of studies.

As I keep saying to people use common sense and follow the scientific peer reviewed studies.

              • +1

@infinite: Where are you getting this information from? It’s completely wrong.
Also I was talking per capita, but I’ll let you do the maths:
                US 1.2M deaths, population 330M
                Australia 22k deaths, population 25M

              • @infinite: in other news .. americans gun control programs are also a success they have far few gun massacres.

Mate. There's plenty of evidence of how bad covid was for a subset of the population (good job for getting lucky) and how effective vaccines were.

Also have you got parents? You can thank everyone who got vaccinated around you for lowering their chance of dying during the covid waves.

        • +3

It was a campaign to reduce spread and length of infections to protect the most vulnerable.

And as we now know this was all a lie, there was no evidence at all that the vaccine would have any effect on transmission.

          It was never even studied.

          • -3

@trapper: Google this. The studies were done.

            • +2

@try2bhelpful: No the studies were not done. Pfizer has testified that it was never studied.

              https://www.news.com.au/technology/science/human-body/pfizer…

A senior Pfizer executive has admitted that the drug company did not know whether its Covid vaccine prevented transmission of the virus when it began rolling out the shots globally.

              • -2

@trapper: Many studies have been done, not necessarily by Pfizer. You might want to do the Googling I suggested you should.

              • -1

@trapper: If it reduces symptoms and lessens the time period a person carries infection in the "most contagious period" it reduces transmission opportunity, period.

                • +1

@Protractor: Yes that logic sounds 'reasonable' in theory, but it was never actually studied… and as we now know, totally wrong.

Almost the whole country was vaccinated and it still spread very easily.

                  • -1

@trapper: Utter conspiratorial hogwash. It spread because arseholes put themselves before others and ignored health advice.

              • -1

@trapper: However lots of other groups have. If you Google around you will see this is the case.

      • I don't know, I've lost count of how many times I've been told I'm going to drop dead from being vaccinated. It ramps up every few months ever since 2020 and there's a wave of people telling me that I'm going to cark it because of the jab. And when I point this out, it devolves into which jab and when and spirals into exhausting, fractal wrongness.

    • That's a lot of unsupported 'opinions' for someone with the word 'science' in their DP.

      • I'm OK that you have that opinion.

  • +15

    Everything wrong about it:
    1. Misinformation, a claim without scientific evidence (*apparently based on someone talking about demand as per Facebook page).
    2. People repeating the same shit. Dailymail is crap but even the actual "article" says:
-Jonathan Rinaldi started his own unvaccinated sperm donor Facebook group
-The group perpetuates false beliefs that the Covid shot affects fertility
    3. Some comments here make me wonder what went wrong with Darwin's theories and why some people are still alive.
    4. Me wasting my time writing this.
