I had an even older version of this Veriton SFF (based on Haswell) and no, PCI slots aren't present.

PCI support was still available after 775. 1156 and in some chipsets on 1155

Yeah this is totally wrong.
You can buy current Motherboards still today with PCI slots - https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/motherboards/cs… and https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/motherboards/cs… as two Intel and AMD examples.

Just looked up a benchmark vs Intel N100 and it gets somewhere around 30% of that. But still $1 (more for postage or to pick up even if in Sydney) and use the old card…
This wouldn't have an old school PCI slot right? I have an old capture card that uses that (not PCI Express)
