Another early Black Friday deal. I believe this maybe the cheapest this particular model has been. Just need an 18% cashback deal to release the wallet.

They all are, with Lenovo's almost permanent sales.
The trick is timing it right. If you get a good sale and a good cashback offer you can get some sweet deals….
Thanks bought 8
Can I have 1?
Sure
Love these workstation/gaming laptop pages.
Big battery! Thin power adapters!
What the weight?
……big battery! Thin power adapters! 2k screen?
Yes and the weight?
optional thin power adapters!
B..buddy.
Still so expensive…
I loved my Lenovo Legion 7i until the screen developed a bad pixel.
The onsite tech came out after a week (Dell would have been a day) and proceeded to bust the hinges off the screen trying to open the case. It's been at Lenovo HQ for 3 weeks and expected return date is now mid November 2023.
Nice products until they bust - worst support.
Too heavy
Another option if people don't really want the 4080 is the Legion 7i Slim which caps out at 4070. For around $3080.
Lighter, thinner, same specs apart from the GPU, more fruit such as SD reader, per key RGB, backlight on rear ports, slim PSU.
Obviously very big gap in GPU performance but if you're a light/medium gamer it's very capable still.
The Legion Slim 7i - i9-13900H / RTX 4070 / 16GB RAM / 1TB SSD / 3.2K 165Hz display is currently going for $4549.
The lower spec i7-13700H / RTX 4060 model is discounted down to $2549 with the same coupon.
Select the one that has the BLACK FRIDAY coupon (the lower spec one you mentioned for $2549 base).

This is its usualish price. I thought about getting this, but chat wont drop the price. Will just offer you free backpack.
I spent everyday for a few weeks checking out the HP 13700hx with 4090 16gb (aka, ad103) for $3400. Fianlly snagged one last week.
https://www.hp.com/au-en/shop/omen-gaming-gaming-laptop-17-i…Took 3 days to get to me. I'm quite impressed by it tbh. Just do some undervolting with omen and afterburner. Then you're good to go, easily hit 20k timespy combined.
Only downsides are the 330w brick. MF is huge and heavy at 2.5kg. Could of just supplied a sfx psu. Also the keyboard feels a little cramped compared to my ducky tkl.
nice snag on the omen! wish i saw it :( I’ll have to refresh daily lol
Nice.
I am camping for one of these. Were you on the mailing list? Or did u just check the site every day?thanks

Cashrewards dont have that restriction? https://www.cashrewards.com.au/store/lenovo
Yeah it’s on now.
I am tempted but thinking whether I should wait for Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
I m after the Legion 7 with a 4090..
@On1: Yeah I'm in the same boat. Looking at reddit tho people say getting the 4080 is better due to thermal issues and now I'm on the fence…
@hybridx: Hmmm but 16gb of vram is surely more future proof?
@On1: They've removed the -$200 discount on the 4090 upgrade. What are the chances of a higher cashback?
@hybridx: no idea .. and yeah I noticed the discount on the upgrade is gone a well.. which annoyed me a bit and part of the reason why I haven't pulled the trigger.
Let me know if you decide on the 4080 or the 4090 .. I m really on the fence for this one…
I will be hooking it up to a 3860x1600 screen (UW) and though the extra vram could help…
I was not sure whether I should i buy with Cashrewards or wait…
After reading comments here, it seems I am not alone :D But 3129$ is tempting.
Hopefully there is better deal coming. The legion prices this year are too inflated..@Sub: I bit the bullet.
The upgrade to the 4090 came back down in price too.
I think potentially u can save another 2% if you wait for the 16% cashback. But I m happy enough with this.
@On1: Congratulations!
Btw How reliable Cashrewards cashback is? I've read that sometimes it does not get tracked…and any way to get it sorted?
Has anyone else had issues with payment authorisation through the Lenovo store? I've been trying to purchase this for 2 weeks via Cashrewards website. I've tried 3 different cards from 3 different banks, as well as Paypal. I've called every bank and they have confirmed that there is no issue authorising the payment. I still cannot get it to work. I've contacted Lenovo support several times and all they try to do is convert the order to a quote and back again, which does nothing. Any help would be much appreciated!
Does the laptop always shipped from china? i added an SSD.
The base $6k price seems incredibly artificial? Surely no one has ever actually paid that amount?
