Yeah that's what I use. And the SPF version for outside. Works fine, but need to reapply fairly quickly. My lips are dry and rough, maybe not drinking enough water. Probably from vaping too much.

I though this too, until recently.
My partner showed me an app called Yuka that lets you scan an item barcode then shows you if the ingredients are harmful or not.
Carmex is considered Bad due to some of the harmful ingredients, the major one being Petrolatum.
Burts Bees was considered good, although I have never tried it.
I think that app is a bit fear monger-y. It's mostly about what works for you. Petrolatum is good in a lot of things so to just say petrolatum is a bad ingredient when it really isn't for a lot of people is a bit silly
I find I use them both for different purposes.
If my lips are already chapped then I go with Carmex. If I'm heading out and i want to prevent it, I'll grab my Burt's bees.
