    Very descriptive Amazon Title:

    RX 6800

  • Should we trust this US stock not to be a used return

  • I personally have a 6800 and the performance of the card is good for 1440p gaming. Cyberpunk with FSR quality turned on and at max settings runs about 80-90fps for me. It played Starfield smoothly too but didn't measure the FPS when I was playing it. I don't think there's many 6800 cards left especially Australian stock so it's probably a good time to buy it.

  • This is not the XT model. And the 7700xt has been under $700 before.

    • +1

6800 is likely better than 7700, around the same performance but 4GB more VRAM.

    • +1

6800 is faster and will age better going by reviews.

I have 6800, great card for 1440p. Pretty easy to undervolt and overclock using Adrenaline software, only consume 160w to 190w. But I paid less than $700 12 months ago, not sure if this still worth $700.

    • Same .. ASUS TUF 6800 $670 NEW - 12 months ago

  • really not sure if i should go for this, or wait for a 7700/7800 deal… have been have this in my wishlist for a while.

  • +1

ok. i'm tired waiting. bought it! hopefully it doesn't disappoint me. works out.
Bought the 6750 xt during ebay sale for $522. got problem with a fan-refunded the full amount $629(BIG WIN :) ). So really only paid $522+70= $592 for this card. plus 2% amazon gift card on $600= $12, and $5 cash back from cashreward. so totaly should be around $575—— i shouldn't complaint.

    • hahah..
I undervolted my 6800.. it runs at 135w from 214w.. only lost around 10% in performance

      • mind to share the settings? not sure how this undervolt works, have to do a bit study.

        • Sure.. simple Custom settings in AMD Drivers

          Go to - Performance / Tuning / Custom /

In GPU Tick Advanced control tick Enabled ( To change Voltage from % to a number ) and set the Voltage to 940 (mV)
Change the Max Frequency (Mhz) to 2000
Hit Apply in the top left.
And that's it your all done :)

          Super simple/stable and doesn't crash.
No need to touch fan tuning or power tuning

Now download Furmark and run a benchmark test… you can have the AMD drive open in Performance / Metrics/
to see the power usage… if its not there you need to tick the box to show it on the left hand side. in the GPU section.. expand the options

Not sure settings stay the same when you update drivers. so may need to do it again every time.

        • here is one, pretty easy https://youtu.be/rU_31-Z6om4?si=APkz0nEXTmWz6bkA
          My 6800 setting
          clockspeed
          min 1600
          max 2320 (2400 some games)
          mv 920
          VRAM speed 2092
          Fan Your choice
          Power just max
My setting will use 160w - 190w (210w stock) with lower temp and slightly faster than stock. 10% less performance is a lot if you set max to 2000. If you want to save power, just use the defualt clockspeed (2280 mine) with lower mv, it will use probably around 170w. (you don't want to pay for 6800 and get 6750xt performance).
I have difference setting for difference games, as some games runs hot and high power (190w) even at 2320 (eg control), some games 2400 still run cool and low power (170w). Just beware every card could be difference, you need to find best setting for your card and games.

          • +1

@stevelo: No go on 920mv for me

I just wanted to use less power and my way is easier with way lower power draw. That one doesn't come close to 135w

            • @vid_ghost: You are right, my setting use 160w-190w (170w avg). I am just saying paying for 6800 but only using 6750xt performance is kinda wasted. At least use default clock speed and undervolt, same stock performance at least, should be around 150w-160w avg. I did o/c a bit.
Yeah, not every GPU is the same. There are people stable at 900mV and 2450hz.

  • Price has dropped to $693.25.

    • Just noticed too. cancled and reordered. hope for an even better price tomorrow.
Did you order one as well?

  • thats a good price what is the warranty on this?

  • Its a great card and can be undervolted with ease.
I have the MSi variant and its currently running on only 672 mV, if not less!

    • 672mV? crazy low compared to mine. Mind to share what min and max clockspeed?

      • I got the settings from Mining Chamber. Minimum is 500 and maximum 1200. The applications you'll need to do so are GPU-Z and MorePowerTool.
