  • Is only once free trail of kogan first allowed ? It’s showing $99 for me

The deal will be live in several hours (12 AM 6 Oct 2023). It is available for both Kogan First/non-Kogan First users. Kogan First user will get free delivery.

    • Switch to monthly. I've had many free trials on a single kogan account.

      • Oh okay I’ll try again, thanks

          This deal is live now.

  • Too cheap to be true, can I hear any sample from it?

      Ba ba ba baaaaa

      Give or take for acoustics

  • +2

    Less than $1 a key!

  • +3

Junk. 1.9cm wide keys. I.e a toy not "full key"

Where are the other 19 notes? If I'm using sheet music I could easily fall off the end unless I play the abridged version Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6 in B minor, Op. 80-19=61. Accompanied by Dame Nellie Melba and her half tit.

    • I think you’d need a custom built one. An 88 key piano would be a a good start if you’re on a budget

    Imagine proudly displaying this junk

I'll keep it next to my wall of participation awards, udemy certificates and Toyota memorabilia.

People buy these for their families and then wonder why no one plays them.

Does it come with a ironing board cover?

  • If you are after a keyboard, include velocity in the search.

No MIDI support. Can't connect to PC.

  • Any good for begginer? Want to learn as hobby

    • +2

Kids or adults? Good for kids in my opinion as they might not be that serious yet but for serious adult you might want to look for branded option, see my comment below.

    • +2

If you're serious about learning, start at the entry level 88-key options, anything else is throwing money away

      Yamaha P45, Roland FP-10 etc

https://www.pianodreamers.com/best-digital-pianos-under-500/ is a good place to start

      • Thank you

    • Buy synthesia and get a keyboard that supports it. Free piano lessons

  • Is it good for 11 yr old kid to learn as beginner. If not then can anyone pls recommend sone other option? Thanks

    • +3

Yes. This is a good option for kids beginner. Once they are ready, you can go with the like of Casio or Yamaha, which will cost way more and it won't come with stand nor the charger, so you might be able to keep the one comes with this and replace the keyboard only.

      • Thanks mate for your feedback

    • -1

If you want see if piano is something that captures your kids attention and if they might have a passion for music then this could be something to gauge that. However, piano is a multi sensory experience, and you're getting an F-Tier experience with this.

Sound is nothing like a real piano
Touch is nothing like a real piano

It would be a crime if your kid actually liked piano to keep them on this junk longer than a month lol

    • For anyone learning I'd say never get anything other than a full sized keyboard (88 keys).

    1. it's junk
    2. it's Kogan

I know very often those are synonymous but in this case I thought it was worth mentioning seperately

  • Wow comments are brutal! Is this not OK for a 8 and 5 year old to play around on? Or are there cheaper alternatives?

    • +2

You can find it on eBay or Amazon, for around $30 ish, but won't come with a stand/maybe not a charger too. The reviews there (items on eBay and Amazon) are worse than this item. So in my honest opinion, I think this one is a steal, especially if you have Kogan First/Kogan credit.
