I sat at the Scoopon table at the International Women's Day Lunch, also at the Perth Convention Centre. The food was a prawn on a smear of something. Then about 2 hours later they brought out undercooked chicken and wouldn't bring out more. I went to the toilet and came back. Dessert had been served, but because I wasn't there, I didn't get any. One prawn for lunch and at least 2 bottles of wine. The scoopon table was a mess. Two women got escorted out. Others picked fights with people at other tables. One fight was with one of the most high profile lawyers in Perth and just kept going on and on. Other women got so drunk they started crying. I was pretty drunk. To this day, I do not remember calling my BF to come pick me up or him driving me to his place. I have no idea if the scoopon tables at this event will be as colourful. IF yes, then……count me in.
