Grand Frontier Firepits with Grill - Mild Steel $149, Stainless Steel $199 (RRP $400 & $578) + Post / Pick up (QLD) @ Supapeg

170

I found great discounts on various firepits direct from Supapeg. https://supapeg.com.au/

Postage costs varies.

They are made in Australia.

Several different models in mild steel and stainless.

Also discounted at Tentworld but the are not posting and you have to call to get information.

To me the stainless steel is the best value.

Would someone really pay $578 for this?

    • Check the prices of the flat firepits. They are usually about $600 in stainless steel and $400 in mild steel in that size.

      Any brand, not only supapeg.

My firepit is an 200L oil drum cut in half with some holes in it.
Personally wouldn't spend money on a Brand New firepit when within a few uses its going to look like you've used it daily for 5 years.

These are to take camping. In most places you can't have an open fire so need to contain it somehow. The stainless steel ones hold up ok. They fold down flat. The oil drum ones are great for a backyard but a bit bulky to take them camping.

Click on go to deal on the right. They are straight from Supapeg. Theres a link at the top as well as links on all the other variants.

      • Check out listing formats for all deals - generally have something like "@ Supapeg" in the title.

        • It is literally the first word of the title

          • @munecito: Yes it is. Still the wrong format, but I'm sure the mods will amend.

@TheFunkySalsa: I changed it but honestly the postage information was more important than the redundant name.

I get what you meant in any case.

              • @munecito: No worries, not a criticism of the deal which is actually quite good.

  • it's the cube or round better ?

    • That comes down to personal preference. The round one folds a bit flatter as the parts of the cube have corners that are welded

    • There are a couple of reviews in the Tentworld product page.

    • @munecito have you been happy with it? Thinking of getting one and tossing up between this and the Supa Cube

        @martyn

Yeah it is a great bit of kit.

A bit heavy in this size but definitely folds flatter than the cube. There are videos on YouTube from Snowy's and tentworld that show them put together and folded.

The one I got off quite deep so you don't need to chop the wood into really short pieces.
