Thanks. I can see exclusion in post edits now.

PS: Before you people neg it. My test was done BEFORE exclusion terms added this post.

It also has an iPhone as the OP image.

        • +5

Yea I gave you a + to lift you from -1

      • Just read this and now I'm like, "Oh Boy ! do I need iphone 15?"

        • Interesting

        • +2

Haven’t had any overheating issues on my Pro Max

        • No issues here on my Pro either, but I do think the processors coming out this year are 50/50 from some of the articles I've read. New 3nm process for TSMC and not getting high yeilds. Apple accounts for 90%? of the orders, most other companies waiting for the next iteration of the 3nm process.

    • Always good to test, in case they mistakenly fail to omit.

    Email says:

Clicking the link in the email takes you straight to Apple products and PlayStation.

Sounds like the sum.of ALL inclusions would fit in a kids backpack.

      • +4

Backpack must be enormous to fit two consoles and and vacuum cleaners. Poor kid.

      • +4

Should just state what included xD

    • Pretty much nothing to buy with this list

    • So to summarise: no products where they make money purely from rebates from the supplier, no contracted services, no gift cards, and no yet to be released products.

lol offer excludes Apple, then proceed to post a photo of Apple iPhone to entice people to a fake ad.

    • +3

That wouldn't be OP though. Not saying you are saying it is.

    • LOL was going to say the same thing.
Come on OP, please edit that photo :D

      • +5

The mods have to change the image.

    • Thumbnail updated.

  • I can use this with the new Jabra 8 earphones, nice

    • +1

elite 8 active? Was going to get them after my elite Active 75t broke (went through the washing machine)

But wasn't sure whether the elite 8 active can use each earbud independently (75t the left earbud was slaved to the right), so went for the Elite 4 instead

      • +1

I think the 8 active may be able to survive washing machine lol

        • +1

Yeah it looks really impressive. Even my 75t I think the only reason it broke is because i may have broken the seal while trying to fix the "right earbud low volume problem", where you basically poke a toothpick into a hole on the earbud to unblock it.

Whatever the reason, washing machine water got inside and damaged the electronics :(

  • Would it stack with a perks voucher?

  • Can I use Ultimate Gift Cards ?

    • +5

Yes, as long as your cart total is below the Ultimate gift card value

      • Gift card number must be 18 digits but it is only 16 digits?

        • +4

It's because the gift card is like a debit card. So pay with card. The 16 digits are your card number. The expiry date is your card's expiry date. The ccv is the 3 digit number on your gift card (forgot what it's called).

Tip if your cart total is more than your ultimate gift card value: use your ultimate gift card to buy jb hi fi gift cards first. Then you can redeem multiple (i exchanged one of my ultimate gift cards for a jb hi fi gift card online and it worked. Note that some ppl have said that you might get an error if you try to exchange more than 2 ultimate gift cards for jb hi fi gift cards in the same day).

          • +1

@Bladeyyy21: JB has been added back to the exchange program through ultimate gift cards so you can "swap" your Ultimate for JB without having to use JB's site. I exhanged $4k worth yesterday with 0 issues and spent them online immediately

  • Also doesnt apply to Nintendo Switch Consoles.

  • But its the 28th? weird. (It's ok Im slow its year right? right?)

  • But the bling lee deal is much better right if you got westpac and cash back offer ?

    • Doesn’t that have a cap? This doesnt

      • +1

        promo code 12OFF.
        +
        17% cashback (cap $70): 9pm today - 9am tomorrow
        +
15% Westpac Bonus cashback (cap $50): all-day today

        Or am I missing something

        • I think if you bought the ultimate gift cards recently it beats the binglee deal

          • @nicolascage: Ah fair point 👍🏽

          • @nicolascage: Assuming you are successful in converting them to JB giftcards to use online. I was not and had to load up Apple wallet to use in store. So can't take advantage of this 10% deal. Anyways I am holding for BF sale.

  • One of the product that I think worth considering is Withings' new smart scale called Body Comp. You can use the 10% perk discount against that product.

This is the successor to Withings' previously top of the range smart scale, Body Cardio. I am finding that scale is very accurate and very useful in keeping myself in check health-wise (BMI, Body Fat/Water/Muscle Composition, Weight, Vascular Age, Weather, and heart rate). Up until August, in Australia it used to show Pulse Wave Velocity (PWV), which is only ever found in Withings' scale before they disabled it for Body Cardio. You can still get the PWV values through another way which I won't disclose for fear of Withings will close that loophole. PWV is a very important metric as it measures your arterial stiffness and is an independent predictor of cardiovascular risk.

For Body Comp, the apps says PWV should be standard (so should be visible again) but I am yet to see that.

    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/withings-body-comp-scale-…

    • Generally, how does a scale measure or estimate your artery thickness?

      • Here's the doco from Withings about it.

        https://support.withings.com/hc/en-us/articles/9293618268177…

        But this is the gist

"How does the Body Comp measure Pulse Wave Velocity?

        The principle

The Body Comp computes Pulse Wave Velocity based on a person’s age and the time it takes for blood to go from the aorta to the vessels in the feet.

        The innovation

Thanks to its sensors, the Body Comp detects slight weight variations on the scale caused by heartbeats. With this information, the scale can sense the moment when blood is ejected from the aorta and the moment when it reaches blood vessels in the feet. The time between these two events is then compared to the user’s height, and the Body Comp can compute the Pulse Wave Velocity in approximately 15 seconds.

Note that after installing your Body Comp, you will need five valid measurements before you can access the Pulse Wave Velocity graph. These measurements are required to calibrate Pulse Wave Velocity measurement on your scale. You will receive a Home tab item every time you get a valid measurement, and a final one once you can access the graph."

I have been using Body Cardio (this Body Comp is the successor of Body Cardio) and its PWV measurement for years. However, they disabled the display of PWV in Body Cardio back in August 2023. Despite this, the scale is still collecting PWV but for you to access the figures, you need to perform a step which Withings hasn't yet realized and thus, hasn't closed the loophole so I can still get my numbers all right.

        • I just copped the Body Comp. Considering it seems like they release scales every 5 years, I'm hoping the long term investment justifies the cost.

          • @exit: Well, hope the 10% discount will help accellerate that payback. I think for me with Body Cardio so far (> 5 years ownership), only the last 1 year I paid attention to the Heart-based analytics like PWV, Vascular Age, Heart Rate (which is probably useless) in addition to normal weight-based analytics like weight, BMI, and body composition (Bone kgs, Water kgs, etc).

This new one also includes Feet Nerve Assessment which is interesting. Technically, not a much improvement in feature vs Body Cardio but it has been 5 years so I am expecting the algorithms and the feature reliability would be much much better this time.

I would probably have preferred Body Scan but looks like its not forthcoming anytime soon.

            • @burningrage: Yeah at the end of the day all of these scales will be highly inaccurate compared to a commercial $20k scanner. As long as its directionally precise enough to let you know you’re on the right track, thats all you can really ask for.

              • @exit: So true. Although sometimes I look for consistency between 2 different smart scales and see which one is more wacky. I used to use Tanita and when you stand on it 3-4x, it gave me material different weight readings. With Withings (at least with my Body Cardio), it has never differ more/less than +/- 0.1kgs and 70% of the time, stays the same when measured 3-4x.

    • Wow I've been waiting forever for it to be released

      • So I ended up getting Body Comp and here is my initial thoughts

        1. Body Cardio uses whole body aluminium construction. Body Comp however uses plastic construction at the base. Thus, it is much lighter but reeks regression.
        2. It uses A3 x 4 batteries as opposed to Body Cardio's Lithium Ion Rechargable Batteries (2x a year charge). Again, it reeks regression.
        3. Tested my weight using both scales and they are both consistent. Obviously Body Comp can go down to 50g (xx.xx kgs) while Body Cardio can only go down to 100g accuracy (xx.x kgs).
        4. The new metrics given by Body Comp are: Visceral Fat, Nerve Score, and other bells and whistles like Air Quality. Despite of what they claim, Body Cardio already has Vascular Age metrics but only shown in your Withings Apps. This scale now displays the score to you. The rest body composition (Water/LeanMass/Bone) are there as they are with Body Cardio.
        5. The Pulse Wave Velocity, which is Withings' signature metric is NOT there so be aware if you want to buy this scale to get this score. However, despite this, there is a way to obtain your PWV.

The verdict? If you haven't got Body Cardio, better off buying that one than this. It seems like a good scale and an improvement from Body Cardio but doesn't justify the 2x the price of Body Cardio.

Can this stack with a price match?

    • +1

      No it doesn't

  • Code works on Apple renewed items.

  • any jb perks coupons?

  • Good discount on the newly released Logitech G Pro mouse that retails for $299 (lol)

  • all I want to buy is anything from this" Excludes Apple, Dyson, DJI, Miele, Asko, PlayStation, Xbox, EA Sports "

    so this code is useless.
