How is this any different from a 69$ IKEA table : https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/lagkapten-adils-desk-white-s094…

isn't 300$ for a non standing desk too much.

Even though this has a solid top I wouldn't call $299 + delivery a bargain.

Also the top isn't pre-drilled so you will need an electric drill and other tools to assemble it. This is risky if you aren't handy with tools because you run the risk of drilling through the top.

That does not look like a bargain to me!

Excellent question. Regrettably, not all desks are created equal. Although IKEA desks may offer affordability, their choice of materials often reflects this, resulting in less durability. Their tabletops are made from hollow fibreboard (which is recycled paper filling versus solid MDF which we use), and their desk frames tend to lack sturdiness. In contrast, we construct all our desks to meet rigorous commercial-grade standards that are built to last.

  • @elevateergonomics Do you have any coupons for the Sit-stand desk? like your previous ones

Far too expensive for what you are getting. Looks like an Ikea copy. Those legs dont look sturdy.

For example, took me all of 2 min of googling to find better look office desks that are both cheaper and look far more solid:

  • Definitely a bargain when compared with this one :

You can buy 8 of these for one of the Costco desks. And while these don't have the same desk area, they're just as flat as the Costco desks.

  • i have an idea, why not make the tabletop out of grade 5 titanium and charge people millions? i m sure its better than whatever wood its made of
