Wide viewing angle or standard viewing angle (SVA)?

1366 * 768 TN panels are pretty ugly to look at, especially given the $300 price point, and the dual core 7th Gen processor is also not in the supported list of CPU's for Win11.

768-line display is a bit of a deal-killer. B-grade and no word on battery condition? 7th gen!? Lack of win-11 support is not the only issue. 8 gen was a big jump, and they are cheap now.
Needs to be under $200. Well under!

  • I prefer A grade!

Not worth it for a sub 1080p display. These older laptops are great as general browsing/office work machines but the screen has to be good enough to actually read text all day.

Not worth it, this is like $150 value.

  • The battery health is at least 70%.

Budget for a new battery ($50)

    Not worth it @ $299

  • +3

If you are shelling out more than $200 then 8th gen is minimum.

    • Yes, 8th-gen doubles core count so was a significant step up in performance.
Worth keeping an eye out for 8th-gen 13/14/15" Elitebook G5 or G6 on eBay/FaceBook/Gumtree

  • How can I connect my HP Elitebook X360 830 G6 to Ethernet (internet)? Do I need to buy any USB C to RJ45 adapter? Please recommend which specific one?
