  • do they count switching from prepaid plan of Coles Mobile?

    • Considering Coles Mobile uses Optus network, it should qualify to switch over to JB HiFi's offer that runs on the Telstra network.

Still happy to have got it for $1130 and use boost for the year.

    • That’s a great price mate :)
      S23 Ultra or S23?

      • +1

        I got a S23 Ultra for $998 + $49 plan fee in July with a free Watch 6 LTE 44mm instead of Watch 5 LTE 44mm.

        • Wow nice. What deal was that?

            • @2jzzzz: I tried to get 10% coupon 4 times for last one year they never send me an email.

            • @2jzzzz: Must've been one of those days that I didn't get a chance to read through all new deals on OzB 😕

            • @2jzzzz: No, you couldn't redeem the watch if you bought it on this deal. I bought it at TGG, it was $1645 plus 15% discount and porting my number to Telstra $49 plan to get $400 bonus. I don't think anyone posted this, but someone mentioned it in the comments. Because not sure if the 15% discount and $400 bonus can be stacked, so no one posted it.

      • S23 ultra, 256gb.

I couldnt wait to figure out a loyalty $100 voucher or get the newsletter sign up $50 off to.stack.

Direct from Samsung, other people got it for under $1000 and cashreqards tracked.

If younsearch s23 ultra on here, it pops up. There was a bonus trade in and i swnt a pair of old, crap headphones. Some targettednpeople.got an email saying trade in bonus was $500 on anything.

S23+ 256gb on sale for $1399, I assume they take the $1500 off RRP of $1649 so this becomes $149 or somehow you end up with credit?

I think it is just a giftcard and they take it off of current price.

      • So it is $1500 gift card if you get a Samsung?

    • We dont feed trolls 😁

  • How much is the early termination fee for the plan?

    • I think you only have to pay back the pro-rata balance of the gift card, so say after 12 months you want out, it will be $750 ish.

      • Are you sure?
I just looked up the link shared below and it seems to suggest I'd pay the following.

        $99 * 50% * 13 (months left) = $643.50
        $800 (voucher) / 24 * 13 (months left) = $433.33
        Total $1076.83

      • Is my understanding right?

I just looked up the link shared and it seems to suggest I'd pay the following.

        $99 * 50% * 13 (months left) = $643.50
        $800 (voucher) / 24 * 13 (months left) = $433.33
        Total $1076.83

        • According to the CIS, my understanding is $1188 (maximum ETC) + $800 voucher fee + $99 (1 month plan fee) = $2087. It’s only worth it if you can sneak your way out of the voucher fee which @BargainsGrabber has done twice apparently.

          • @Maths Debater: Sorry I meant on my current plan $99 Jb with $800 voucher which I've had for 11 months

So basically I'm out of luck. I'll have to pay that amount I calculated above ?

            • @bisaya: This is for port-in only though? You can’t port out and back in again. You need have been with the competing provider for a certain period.

          • +2

@Maths Debater: Here’s the proofs that I’ve done it twice: 1 and 2

I’m not really sure if TGG are having the same critical information summary as JB tho

  • Not sure but does it say no trade in old phones with this offer?

  • +2

    $99/m in title please.

Also last week it was $1550 off the fold

    • thanks, updated the title.

    • Was only $1300 off samsung last week at my local store.

  • Any online link?

  • +2

$99 monthly without international calling. Lol

    • Damn screw that

  • Ultra is starting at $1949 on their site, so not sure there's any deal with this presently.

S23+ is also awkwardly priced unless you can grab some Galaxy Buds2 or a watch with the gift card remainder.

Likely to be a sale price soon or this makes zero sense.

  • Why not do the trade in at Samsung store?

  • Is this a month to month plan so can cancel after forst month?

    • Yes, you can cancel after the first month however, you need payout the plan ETC and voucher per the CIS. There are users who have reported that they didn’t have to payout the voucher but that’s a risk you’ll have to take.

  • still 36.5 per month mobile plan… expensive.

  • I want to cancel my current Telstra plan so i can move back on a deal like this…any suggestions?

  • Is anyone able to confirm (from prior experience) whether or not you must have been with the previous provider for a specified period of time? I don't see anything in the CIS or T&C stating this.

I want to port out of Boost prepaid to Optus (or other), and port back in on this deal.

  • Also, are you able to use JB gift cards to pay off part of the mobile plan upfront?
