Even with 50% discount it is rather expensive
I have used Fabness and appreciate codes like this, but goddamn I wish canvas companies just used real prices instead of having to run specials of one description or another 5 out of every 7 days. It's nigh-impossible to assess what the actual price of the damned things are.
Yeah, I agree, hard to tell what's a good deal with canvas companies. I wasn't really expecting a whole lot of +1's. But thought I'd put it out there in case someone's in the market for it.
Personally, I'd only ever buy a canvas when they come up on Scoopon (or similar). Most of the time you pick up a 100x50 for $50, 50x40 for $30/$40, or 3x 40x30 for $75 (which I've bought a few times).
Of course it means waiting around a bit.Regarding their quality/service - highly recommended. They misprinted a border on one large print I ordered - sent through a few pics then they just reprinted it and sent it again. No need to send it back (which is great).
Excellent prints, but this is too expensive. Scoopon price is 1m x 0.5m for $59. Those Scoopons come up OFTEN.
Are these Canvas's strung over a wooden frame as well? Or are they just the print, printed on a Canvas Sheet with no framing?
Same applies with the Scoopon Vouchers…do/did they include the frame?

Has anyone used SnappySumo? How is Fabness's service compared to SnappySumo?
I bought a SnappySumo voucher from Scoopon - After 6 weeks since the order was placed and numerous promises ("your order will be posted within 7 days!") the product still has not be delivered. I've just lodged a dispute with Paypal and will lodge a complain to ACCC! The experience puts me off from using these online printers…I've done a 100x50cm canvas from fabness using a Scoopon voucher. From memory it took about a week or 10 days for me to get my print. I wasnt in a rush though, and it was great. No complaints at all. I did start with a 16MP image though :)
I saw that deal on Scoopon a couple of weeks ago ($49 + postage) but didn't go for it (really wanted to) due to bad experience with SnappySumo!

I got the 100x50cm via scoopon for $59
Well packaged, but my box, and a friend's got damaged in transit. I was surprised cause the courier left it on the doorstep. Despite the dent in the box, mine was ok. My friends had a bulge in the actual canvas. They sent out a replacement Foc.
In terms of the frames, they are very very light. They don't feel as sturdy as the ones from Genius, and the quality of the workmanship of the stretching / stapling isn't as good. The print quality is decent, though the actual canvas doesn't seem as dense.
When I bought my fabness voucher from scoopon, all i read was great reviews about them.
After using them for 3x 30cm canvases, i can only agree. Quality is great and super fast shipping as well.
