This previously popular tablet is back on sale for a record low price and while the 2023 version is out already this version is arguably better due to the OLED 120Hz display, GPS and price. The other highlights include Widevine L1 DRM for Netflix HD, USB 3.2 with Video Out and the MediaTek Kompanio 1300T is a flagship CPU that performs on par with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 CPU.

If you're interested you can get it cheaper from this listing for US$225.28 (~A$350.51) if you choose "Color: Original Sealed". Be quick as there's only 5pcs left! Sold out.

Other features include Android 12 / ZUI (Android 13 / ZUI 14 via OTA), 11.2" 2560x1536 OLED display with 600nits brightness, HDR10+ & Dolby Vision, 128GB UFS 3.1 Storage (microSD support), 8200mAh battery with 30W fast charging, 4 JBL Speakers with Dolby Atmos, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and POGO pins for charging/keyboard.

For reviews Techtablets has praised this tablet with the downside being no headphone jack.

Please note: You'll want to order this tablet with the Original Sealed Chinese ROM due to there being no official Global ROM. Any seller that advertises a "Global ROM" has stitched together a ROM from another tablet resulting in an unlocked bootloader (risk of preinstalled malware), bad performance, no OTA updates, no Widevine L1 DRM and no fast charging. The CN ROM does not suffer from any of these issues.

    • Same here. Still waiting.

      • I ordered mine on 29/9 (I was too slow for this deal and paid slightly more) and got a message today that it has been shipped.

      Maybe because of this?

"To celebrate China National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, many of our sellers will be on holiday from September 29th to October 6th. During that period, order processing and shipping time may be delayed about 8 working days. Your patience on this will be appreciated."

      • But this deal expired on 22 September… I bought it on 20th, then it was marked as shipped on 23rd. It should have a status more than waiting for seller to dispatch

        • Yeah mid-autumn festival is kind of a big deal over there. They likely had a backlog of orders to fill before they got to ours because of the upcoming festival. Just remembered I've been chomping down on moon cakes for the past month when wombat1955 posted about it. Just gotta wait for them to go back to work.

  • Nothing has been dispatched yet and the order was placed on September 19th.

Not the greatest service just quitely

For those still on the fence, price drop on the Snapdragon version. Hard to resist now…

    • Hell of a deal for the 8GB SD870 OLED version (A$358 + taxes at time of this post)

There's another one from the same seller for $348

        • I bought one a few months ago, literally just received ZUI 15 via OTA update today for anyone interested.

          • @reactor-au: Don't suppose ZUI 15 supports multiple users/profiles?

            • @FiXXXeR: I don't think so. The desktop mode is back though. Other than that, is say the most noticable change is that it feels much more responsive than zui14

  • There was a problem communicating with the Google servers.

Anybody on here know how to fix this when opening Google play and clicking sign in ?

    • You need to enable Google Basic services to sign into Google accounts on this device. This can be done by going into Settings > Apps > 3 dots right corner > Google Basic Services > switched on

For those who bought this tablet - I've discovered something worth sharing:

How to convert the Chinese Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022 into a Global Tab P11 Pro Gen 2
(Yes, you heard that right - it is possible now!)

    1. Download RSA tool from Lenovo and install it on a PC.
    2. Open it and sign in with a Lenovo account (or create one if you need to)
    3. On the Rescue tab, select Tablet and input the serial number.
    4. When it can't determine what device you have, you can then enter details manually. Choose "Lenovo Tab P11(2nd Gen) / TB132FU / United States" as the options. (Obviously double-check that you do have a TB132FU device.)
    5. Download the firmware and start the recovery process (and ignore the warning in red about the CN model), but be aware that it will wipe everything.

Congratulations - you are now the proud owner of a Lenovo Tab P11 Pro Gen 2 running Global Android 13 (with Widevine L1 and fast charging intact)!

Source: XDA (this info came from late in the thread BTW - not the instructions at the start)

    Enjoy…

    • I don’t suppose something similar would be possible for the snapdragon version TB138FC?

      • If the model code matches the Global one exactly then it might be possible - best to search on XDA first though to see if anyone else has achieved it.

    • Thanks very much for this information. Just received mine today and this is the first thing I did. Worked a treat. Just one thing. You mentioned to choose the "Lenovo Tab P11(2nd Gen)", but you actually need to select the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen). Fairly obvious when you get into the process, but it made me check it twice. :)

      • Oops, thanks for picking up that typo!

Unfortunately I can't edit the post any more, otherwise I'd fix it.

  • Just received mine today. Had a question. Is it supposed to come with an au plug or do we have to buy one. The charging brick doesn't fit into a normal PowerPoint and the adapter provided also doesn't

  • Thank you
