The ram will appeal to a lot of people because 16gb is plenty for a lot of use cases. The webcam is adequate, it's only a video call lol.
11th gen while the iGPU is impressive and the CPU is powerful enough, the power consumption is disappointing.
wo, which one is better? I bought this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/798356 but it need 6-8 weeks. waiting isn't issue for me. But if there are no different, I can cancel it and get this one instead
this is more robust build
Sorry, is the thinkpad x13 better or not as good?
ThanksThis is means this on this thread.
Just in terms of physical durability, ThinkPads are the way to go.
@BadGiraffe: How about versus dell xps?
@CyberMurning: I honestly haven't used Dells in years, so I can't say.
But ThinkPads are built like tanks. So much so, I don't mind having my 3 ot 5 year old nieces and nephews play with mine. Mine's an X1 Yoga.
I mean… I don't let them flip the screen over themselves, but I lay it out in tablet or tent mode and let them play games on it.
@BadGiraffe: I had a bad experience with the top-end XPS in 2012. A batch of 10 laptops, half of them had screen issue within the 1st year. Mine needed to change the screen and the keyboard in the first year, and after approx 3 years, the mainboard was dead.
I was a Thinkpad user before that, and I found that the XPS's keyboard was terrible. Also got annoyed that the screen couldn't be open 180°.
As mentioned this build is better and 3yr warranty.
The amd cpu will be better on power consumption.

not a bad option. 16GB is enough, CPU is a bit dated, but you get good ThinklPad build and 100% sRGB panel
Hmm tempted.. tb4, pen, and the rest of the specs… wish the price is around 700, maybe will look at second hand….
11th gen, soldered ram, 720p camera…who does this appeal to?
