    amazing price per outlet

Insane! That’s like 10 cents per pinhole, and you get the six extra pins for free!

  • +4

    You’ll find them in bins

    Their rightful place :D

    • Not wrong. After a year or so I've found the things plugged into them just fall out :(

    8 Outlet USB Powerboard - 2-Pack

With this much power, you’ll become a dictator.

    • +1

4800 watts can rule a country? I guess electricity prices are officially out of control

    • No one man should have all that power
The clock's ticking, I just count the hours
Stop tripping, I'm tripping off the power
'Til then, F&#K that, the world's ours

Thanks. No stock in most VIC Bunnings Stores.

    • The real mvp

    • Upvoted but is this fairly accurate? Should I bother checking out my local if it says 0 in your link?

      • +1

I think it's pretty accurate based on past personal experience, but there can be a delay; eg if someone went and bought all stock in the morning, it would still say there's stock if you went in the afternoon and you would be disappointed. But it would update the next day.

Personally I wouldn't go specifically for this item only if it says 0. But if you're going anyway…worth a shot?

    • Only 2 stores in QLD with more than 1 or 2 in stock. Most with 0.

    • 193 upvotes and probably fewer than 50 in stock across the whole country. Sounds about right to me…

    • +1

      Thanks. Saved me a trip.

For those who never owned one, go and buy it if you can find a stock . It is really a good power board. I bought them 2 @$15 few months back and i am very happy with it . The eight pins are kind of spaced and staggered so you don't have the issue of one plug blocking other plus you get 2 USB ports plus an indicating blue light

    • +1

My advice would actually be opposite I'm afraid.

After a year or so in cheap Arlec power boards most of the things I plug into them fall out.

If all is still good in 10 months time I will retract my statement maybe they've improved the quality but yeah in general it has not been great for me :(

You get what you pay for.

Clipsal and Belkin have never given me a problem.

  • What's the length of the cord anyone?

  • I can see a max a meter or a bit more

  • Too bad can’t click and collect

  • +1

    These are great.

    4 cacti out of 5

    • +1

Disappointed that it came up a whole cactus short of perfection

  • HAHAH no stock in SA at all :(

  • FYI, These make alot of sound, i used to use it next to my bedside table but it is too loud for that.

Just went to the one in Castle Hill which should've had heaps. The staff member told me one guy came in and bought 16!!! Greedy bastard..

    • It will soon come on ebay

    • Bought 3 at Castle Hill this morning, still a few hanging on the wall when I left (they're not in a bin).

    • Must be one of us

    • +1

Don't be disappointed bro. Assuming he utilises one unit for himself the rest on eBay/gumtree/fb marketplace, just dont buy from this dude. He has wasted $5 x 15 units= $75 of absolute uselessness unless he finds a way to capitalise it.
But hey if the dude genuinely has a f e t i $ h for white coloured power boards, he needs some professional help.

  • +1

What kind of stuff would you plug into it? Considering it doesn't have surge protection

    • +1

Phone chargers, and other non critical items.

    • Things that have some level of protection integrated.

If you're not using heymix products, most chargers and low power appliances should have inbuilt protections and or isolation you can rely on.

    • The surge protection on the vast majority of cheaper powerbars is worthless anyway, enough to protect from someone sneezing nearby and not much else.

  • +3

if you can grab one from your local bunnings then more power to ya.

  • +2

Just picked up two packs - further reduced to $2 at Keperra QLD. only couple left in clearance section.

    • Is this clearance section still in the electrical stuff area or somewhere else in the store?

      • +1

Middle of store near special order desk. Rack in middle of aisle

        • Cheers hopefully they're not all gone when I swing by later lol.

  • Picked up 2packs from rosebud vic.
    Still have some more left.

Showing 6 units @ Castle Hill, NSW store. Went there and told me nothing available. Showed the stock check result then told me one of their staff put FIVE units on hold for himself/herself. Is this OK practice for Bunnings' staff?

    Thanks OP
I'd been to Waurn Ponds earlier today. When I left, the website said there was 9. When I got there, the website said there was 2 left.
The guy I spoke to didn't have a clue where to find them. He claimed there were none left. He said to go to the North Geelong store, where there were 5 left.
I went to the North Geelong store about an hour ago. The guy said someone else was looking for them, but he couldn't find them.
He checked the clearance area but there was none there.
He then asked for the stock # and then looked at the top of the racks and found a box of 5.
I suspect the same would have happened at the Waurn Ponds store if the guy was half as helpful as the one at North Geelong.
An hour ago I picked up 2 packs from North Geelong.
Update at 5:20 pm. Waurn Ponds stocks now saying 1 left and North Geelong still saying 5 left. WTF

  • For those that missed out and needing a 5-sockets/ 2-3 USB powerboard, what are the alternatives? Thanks.

  • For those near or want to go to Torquay Vic, they still have about 15. Wasn't on shelf. Had to enlist to helpers but found along back wall at end of electrical aisle. $4.75 on powerpass too.

  • Thanks OP bought 3 packs on the weekend. Amazing deal!

Bit unclear, do these have surge protection? If not, i wouldn't plug any expensive devices in (TV, Consoles etc.).. better to pay little more for something with High Joule Protection to avoid damage to your device. But good for laptop charging or heater etc.

  • They're now $2.50 a pack! Amazing value.

  • Only 4 left in all of Metro Melbourne!
