Not as cheap as the Kogan deal recently, but not a bad price for 16GB model.
Note - changed shipping to $18.80, which seems to be the same for most Aussie location

OK - thanks - corrected
Shipping to WA: $18.80
Same for NSW, though no extra shipping for more than 1. Good if you want another in same order. Keep under $1000 shipped to avoid GST.
This offer is limited to 1 per customer as stated here:
http://www.uniquemobiles.com.au/media/newsletter/2012/septem…Another cheaper phone is what I meant, keeping total shipped price below $1000
Yeah, I noticed that, which is contrary to what they say on their shipping page

Have changed shipping charge in title anyway.
Fire sale incoming. I wonder how much they will be after iPhone 5 is revealed in a few days…
Tonight 3am :)
Not an apple fan boy but they are pioneers of a view things..
Good deal btw close to a price of the note 1.. Glad I bought the note its holding its value wellAnd subsequently pulled due to the LTE patents? It'll be interesting to see how this Apple/Samsung lovers' tiff goes down.
Apple quietly bought up 4% of LTE patents, probably delayed releasing such a phone until they had acquired enough patents. But its a fraction owned Samsung and HTC.. maybe very limited LTE capability.
Me think both samsung and apple devices are too expensive.
12 hours actually :)
You are terrible at counting, there are at least 60! (I need to get a life lol)
Question marks?
im sick of seeing apple fan-boy commenting, shouldn't you be lining up outside apple store by now?
On the eve of new iphone debut, even for the sake of every intention to buy the S3, one would like to wait to save $$$. Guys, your patience will pay off, that's the whole point of competition.
what courier is named under AEA??
Is it supposed to be AAE?
That's what I thought as well. Australian Air Express? http://www.aae.com.au/
Yup, typo, now corrected
Did you check the shipping page- it says $13.80That's for non direct import orders.
The order will be shipped from HongKong, not sure which courier they use, maybe EMS?
iphone 5 will be announced tomorrow 3am
This might help others http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1977502&p…
When i click on the link it says $549.
Stop being a hothead and use the code: KNOCKS3
I am currently selling one of these phones (pebble blue 16gb) locked to Telstra. Any interest in it?
Used for about 2 weeks.how are you selling it?
About to post a 'Swapping or Selling' on the forum and if no luck then eBay
I wonder when Kogan (who are still advertising they have the "world's best price") will alter their price?
Once the price goes under $500 shipped I'm sold!
Same, I think there still will be some price drops within the next few weeks because of the iphone 5 release. Hopefully Kogan follows Unique Mobiles soon and beats it!
will make decisions after Iphone 5 is released.
Same here also see some price drop
Good price. Looks like Samsung are ready to try and counter the IPhone 5. Floptus and Virgin both now have the SG3 4G LTE black handset version up for pre-order on plans (prob end of sept delivery).
Maybe the price of original SG3 will drop even further!
Not really excited about 4G, none in my area that's why but on the other hand price drop on original S3 is good.
Will make decision after I can hold an iPhone 5 and one of these in each hand and compare. iPhone always did feel more solid then the plastic Samsungs
no one cares about the lack of local warranty?
No one really cares until they have to go through all the headaches associated with returning a faulty product to a shop that doesn't give a rat's a**.
3 months ago, I would've been buying left and right not caring about warranty. After my dispute with DWI which involved Fair Trading…never again.
I had a run in with DWI too. But so far I've been happy with Kogan who have now replaced my dead pixel S3 no questions asked. I guess Kogan is different because they actually care about their reputation, not like those other offshore companies.
Glad to hear you got that fixed I'm waiting on a reply from Memorycity about the faulty micro sd I got.. :( Its been 3 days an counting
@krisp do tell!!
caution: phone might come in unsealed box with signs it may have been used previously
i will attest to this. I bought a phone from uniquemobiles and it was in fact a "USED" mobile. it even had photos from the previous owner still there. And no, unfortunately, no sexytime photos.
they rarely answered their phones and it took ages for them to provide a replacement. They also did not offer to pay back postage costs until I requested it.
good price for phone, bad price for service.
Don't think thes actually anything cheaper on ozb, tho it's import, your not gonna find cheaper, with Australian stock anywhere.
is there actually much difference between overseas import and aus stock phones?
any idea what the warranty policies are like, or anyone ever encountered any problems with warranty from unique mobiles?
Just ordered… wonder how long it will take to get to Perth! Some of the reviews online quote 2 day delivery, which seems crazy quick for a HK delivery.
The thoroughly uninspiring iPhone 5 makes this phone at this price point a bargain, but I'll wait until the price hits below $500.
Not aussie stock.
Stock Import Direct
Not a bad price though.
