      Where?
      I don't see any other listings for the bike.

      I removed it from my post 8hrs ago because member @bargaino found this one which is lighter (20kg), more gears, disc brakes & the same size battery.

        They are two different bikes and if the Aldi one is heavier, it's because it has a:
        * Traditional folding and stronger frame.
        * Wider tyres.
        * A more comfortable seat.
        * A back rack.
        And mostly important it has Aldi warranty.

        • Yeah each to their own & I'm no expert but if I was buying a fold up bike the weight difference alone would be a huge deciding factor.

          In saying that I wouldn't buy one anyway. Prefer a full frame bike.

            @WatchNerd: yeah kogan one doesnt fold ,completely different bikes - weight would be one way to look at it but then again the boot space and construction of it (safety ) would be another.

          And mostly important it has Aldi warranty.

          I'd say that was a negative. Any issue they just say bad luck, here's your money back.

            @M00Cow: with aldi at least you get your money back with kogan goodluck with that…so in my books thats a positive.

        • I have a different ALDI e-Bike, which is quite good. But just don't think the above bike is good value.
          The accessories on sale are more interesting.

      • There's now a free shipping code for father's day. It would save you about $30 depending on location. Didn't have that when I ordered yesterday.

    Fits easily into car boots! In my day, a bike used to take you for a ride not the other way around.

    Difficult to recommend this bike as it only has a single gear. As the bike only has a 250W motor (the legal maximum in most [all?] states} going up most hills will be very very challenging.

    • going up most hills

      If you plan to ride on uphills, this or any other cheap electric bike will suffer and you could even burn the motor.

        That's not my experience from owning this super cheap bike for 12 months and living in an extremely hilly area. It handles the hills with ease but it needs to be in a very low gear.

        • This aldi bike looks like it don't have gears so that's why its harder even with the motor.

        • I dunno.. you'll have to:

          1. Define what "extremely hilly" is
          2. Explain what "handles the hills with ease" means exactly

          When it comes to e-bikes and e-scooters for inclines, the general consensus is:

          • Moderate: 5-10 degrees
          • Steep: 10-15 degrees
          • Extremely: 15+ degrees

          And being able to handle an extreme hill with ease I would want to be going up it at a speed of 15 km/h or more

          I have owned the Aldi bike and currently own the Kogan Fortis.

          Fortis is much better on uphills, even leaving it on middle gear. Aldi bike gives up on medium inclines. Aldi is 24V battery and Fortis 36V. Overall range, Fortis would,do nearly double.

          In terms of ride quality, Aldi one feels less bumpy.

          • @Thrawn: can you actually replace the gear for this model?
