    Yes they do, unless you clean them thoroughly and remove the crud from time to time using a toothpick or q-tip

      I'm guessing it consists of saliva, toothpaste and bacteria. This toothbrush design has a bunch of small deep crevices that are hard to get into and clean properly.

    Yes, it's been really disappointing coming from Sonicare to the IO because of the toothbrush head mold.
