    Be warned that these are old models. New gear is 200Mbps.

    This must be a VERY old version, as the current Powerline standard is 500Mbps, & the previous version is 200Mbps.
    It should be pointed out that u Never get this theoretical maximum rates in real usage.

  • these are fine for IP cameras. Not much more than that though, would not want to try streaming a movie or anything across it.

    Also be warned that some of these units have a recall on them. The kit will have an XE103 as one of the units, which were recalled (see http://www.netgear.com/landing/en-us/recall_powerline.aspx). They may have fixed them in later manufactures (Netgear supplied a totally different model as a replacement), but if this is old stock…

  • these can be slow like 1.5Mb/s when transfer files arcoss network.
    Good for internet thou, rarely disconnect compare with wifi which sometimes disconnect.

    I have gone on a personal vendetta against this mob.

    Purchased Asus EEE Slate on the 13th of September and all I have so far is a "Confirmed Payment" status.

    No reply to etickets nor any response via Paypal Dispute.
