I'm back with another M.2 SSD enclosure deal for those who have picked up one of the many countless cheap SSDs lately and this one is cheaper than the previously popular Orico deal.

Like the Orico this enclosure is dual protocol with support for both M key, B&M key SATA and NVMe SSDs. It has fast read/write speeds due to being USB 3.2 Gen2 (10Gbps) via USB-C and uses the ASMedia ASM225CM chipset which typically offers better performance/stability over the JMicron counterparts. It will fit 2280, 2260, 2242 and 2230 sized M.2 SSDs.

For heat dissipation there's a thermal pad and heatsink that make contact with the aluminium alloy shell to help keep it cool. This is a big improvement over the Orico which had no thermal pad or heatsink.

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate and GST inclusive.

    How much with new account

    • US$5.30 ex GST. I personally would do new accounts for high value products since AliExpress will start banning your address, accounts and payment information from future orders when they catch on.

  • So imo this is the best enclosure? I'm not going see any deal for a better one:)

    • It's the best I've seen so far and I've been actively looking for them since the Orico deal.

  • to me showing inclusive of tax 13.17$

    • Click through the link in the description.

      • Getting the same too. Maybe exchange rate changed?

        • What's your USD price? I base the AUD off the actual exchange rate which you'll get if you have a card without international fees billed in USD in PayPal. AliExpress' AUD rate would be inflated.

          • @Clear: F, already ordered, oh well 😂

            • @quill: If you don't have a card without fees you'd get shafted by PayPal's inflated exchange rate converting USD to AUD anyway.

      • yes of course, clicked through that link

  • Mine came to $9.68, winning?

    • That's for cheapest option.

    • I just made this error, have asked to cancel so I can purchase the correct item.

  • So different prices? For different accounts?

  • Why not get external SSDs?

    • Spare internals after upgrading from all the SSD deals that have been coming up.

      • Yeah seems like internal ssds are way cheaper these days. Hardly any discounts on external ssds

    • Internally they use the SATA interface which is slower.

      • There are faster external ssds like the Samsung T7

  • OOS

  • What's the difference between CC or CA versions?

    • +1

Different cable USB C to A or C to C

  • Just picked up the NVMe version for less as didn’t need the SATA compatibility. So that is still in stock, whereas the SATA/NVMe one is OOS.

  • $12.26 AUD paid upfront instead of keeping USD and paying with my 28 degrees card?

And zero coins available for use =D

  • This cable seems alright.

    Use code 0WB6NO9OBLKD

    • They're all USB 2.0 cables so they wouldn't be suitable.

      • Thanks for the comment. Did not notice that.

  • Looks like back in stock.

Ordered SATA NVMe CC just now for AUD 9.74

    • They're still out of stock. You probably went through the main link instead of the description and got the new user bonus.

      • Aah I see. I went through the description link at first, it was out of stock. Then navigated here and there, so you must be right.

  • Looks like a juul in the img

  • Lol argh! I just bought the iDsonix one last night for $11.64 (little bit less with coins) with $3 store coupon (still available)

  • Back in stock, got the 10gbps for $12.25 delivered.

  • Just paid $9.69 in AUD. I'm not a new user.

    • You probably bought the SATA enclosure.

      • Well, I followed your link in the description, and got AU$8.81 + $AU0.89 + Free shipping = $AU9.69 for this item:

Yottamaster M.2 NVMe/SATA Dual Protocol Hard Disk Enclosure Type-C USB3.2 Gen2 10Gbp SSD External Storage Box 4TB SSD Case.

Unless I've done something wrong, I hope I'll get not (just) SATA enclosure. :)

      • Actually, I've just noticed that the header remains unchanged after selecting different 'color' options below. The header consistently displays:

Yottamaster M.2 NVMe/SATA Dual Protocol Hard Disk Enclosure Type-C USB3.2 Gen2 10Gbp SSD External Storage Box 4TB SSD Case.

However, upon selecting different 'colors', the adjacent product description under 'Color:' does change, showing different products. Perhaps, I am not familiar with Aliexpress. How can I tell the product I've purchased? If I bought the wrong enclosure can I cancel my order?

        • If you didn't pick any of the the last 2 "colours" you bought the first option the SATA 5gbp and considering what you paid you definitely did. You're better off cancelling if you need something with nvme.

        • Thanks guys, I will cancel my order then!

  • I think you should state the option to pick up front. Too many people not reading the whole deal

    • Good idea. Deal is over but I'll do it for a future deal. If I edit now the special link will disappear and the mods would have to fix.

  • well seller only replied yesterday and already shipped, received it today but have no use for it
