Tynee has just recently launched their new generation of electric skateboards and are clearing out last year's models.
The Mini 2 in this configuration was previously selling for US$659, and the Ultra was selling for $669.

(Mod note: prices exclude Import Duty and GST. These will be payable if your order exceeds A$1,000.)

The Ultra is a flexy deck longboard (Boosted Board-esque), and the Mini is a stiff deck shortboard.
Outside of that difference, these boards share almost identical components.

In terms of eskate companies, there is a general consensus within the community that Tynee is the best there is when it comes to customer support.
The affiliate code is the name of the company's founder, who previously co-founded WowGo and left before their quality went to crap.

In terms of specs:

-12s2p (50.4v) 363wh Molicel M42A Battery
(This is a 20700 cell so it's slightly less energy dense than a 21700 but not by much - High Quality Cell)
-Dual 850w 5055 Belt Motors
(5055 referring to the motor size of 50mm x 55mm)
-Hobbywing ESC's rated at 24A on the Mini 2 / 26A on the Ultra
(Claimed top speed of 48km/h & 45km/h, respectively. Actual top speed will depend on weight)

These boards will comfortably do ~25km on a single charge.
Tynee delivers from their domestic warehouse, so shipping should only take 2-8 days depending on your locality.

As always please wear a helmet!

No not associated, just a part of the eskate community and saw some good deals I thought should be posted :)

  • Learn how to skate before buying one of these.

Looks epic… But I reckon I'd kill myself riding one of these.

Or it can kill you just like my board (another brand) tried to kill me by accelerating instead of breaking.

      • Which board and model did you have?

        • +1

Propel Endeavor Pro 1 tried to kill me. Also I have Propel x4s, Ownboard Zeus, Path Weekend Warrior and Ownboard W1S

          • @alpln: What do you recommend to look for? motor size? Battery capacity minimum? Hobby wing? Board composition?

            • +1

@Magik: despite an assassination attempt, the best board for assie riding conditions and price for buck is propel end pro. S1 slightly cheaper, but the range and ESC+remote are not exciting

If you are certain you don't need suspension, I'd go with ownboard Zeus as the most reliable thing I've ever ridden. If you are in Melbourne dm my inst alenpln - happy to show you the boards

@alpln: Awesome, thanks for advice, Im in Sydney unfortunately, thank you for your kind offer :)

  • If the cells go by normal mollicell naming the capacity will be 4200mah and that capacity in a 20700 won't be a high drain cell (amperage wise).

  • Great scott,
At this price I expect no wheels!

  • Comes with complimentary Ambulance plan.
