    Read the reviews, many people say they never hit the limits and have to stop, and the unit doesn't overheat with continuous welding.

  Can the tig kit be used on a different brand of arc welder?

    No, the TIG weld kit can only be used on TIG welder. Anyway, the kit is not included, if you want to use TIG welding you have to buy one. It is $57 at Repco, $38 at Sparesbox. And you need a gas bottle & regulator too.

  OP, just to be clear for OzBargainers inexperienced in welding, perhaps say "ARC/TIG (stick) Welder" in the title.

  There is no "TIG" equipment supplied with this welder….

  So its just a Stick.
