One mans trash is another mans treasure

Lol yeah.. and I reckon Groupon relies rather heavily on that ol' saying while trying to offload their trash.. I mean offers.

I sort of agree with chadparis as that deal has been around in one form or another for ages, the originator has it on their site all the time. A way to boost attendance at the independence, I can't blame them but yea no great deal sorry OP

Lets hope someone will find this deal helpful:)

        Great deal OP.

  • I can not get the locations to download. If anyone else can get it to work, I'd love to see the WA locations. I am sure Ace will be on there, but am wondering about Luna Palace.

voteoften try hitting the map not the "what locations are available" that worked for me

    • Thanks. I did earlier and got an error. It is working now. Thanks again.

      • your welcome just know that the IMAX is Syd only not nationwide as advertised

  • +2

I don't like to be a downer but the head line needs to be amended as it only includes IMAX tickets valid for Sydney IMAX only and IMAX is available in Sydney, Blue Mountains and other states such as Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia. So other OZbargainers now the facts that the IMAX as headlined is Sydney Only

    • Cant fit in the title…..

NOTE: Surcharge applies for 3D movies and IMAX viewings over 1 hour
    Not worth it IMO

    • +3

The surcharge cost is $8.5 (for Movies over 60min)

I have a CINEMA SAVER voucher. How do I redeem this and what are the conditions?

Each Cinema Saver voucher must be exchanged in person at the IMAX Box Office for a ticket to an advertised film session.
It is not possible at this time to redeem the Cinema Saver voucher online, although this is a feature we are working on for the future.
Please refer to the full Terms & Conditions listed on the back of the Cinema Saver voucher, as there are some limitations on usage.
Please note that there is a SURCHARGE of $8.50 when using a Cinema Saver voucher for feature films at the IMAX Theatre Sydney ie. films more than 60 minutes in duration. However, No Free List (or No Free Tickets ‘NFT’) restrictions DO NOT apply in the case of Cinema Savers.
We DO NOT charge a fee for 3D glasses.

So $18 a ticket at IMAX Sydney, compared to full price $31, save $13 (or $27 for concession, save $9)
      Not too bad (✌゚∀゚)☞

  • Its ok for Imax. Just note that I had to pay extra $7 at Imax to watch Dark Knight Rises at Imax. This is after 1 month of the movie release.

  • good way to spend referral credit from the $10 westfield / woolworths petrol gift card deals :)

  • i had $49 in groupon credit so free for me =) even at $8 surcharge its worth it
