Have you used them? Are they a reliable company?

would this give me access to hulu and netflix?

    • you'd be better off using unblock-us.com - only $5/mo and works a treat for me

      • What kind of speeds are you seeing with this VPN provider?

        • its not a vpn provider it only masks dns and then you stream whatever you normally would through your connection. i believe its the same as the tunlr.net one posted below which is free. so try that out first!

    • For Hulu, you can use the free Firefox, and Google Chrome extension, ProxMate.

Better still, for free, and Netflix as well, use tunlr.net.

        • I love you…

          what a bromance moment …

        • tnx

        • Nice one.

      • proxmate doesn't work for me on hulu from chrome.

I use AirVPN and I can access Hula I assume Netflix as well.
You can check em out their are like 54euro a year or they have other plans.
They also don't keep logs so its safe and shared IPs etc.

        This is 12euro per year.
        That is 54euro per year.

Yeh but OP does not specifically say he has used the service nor as any other user so I decided to give others my 2 cents on a service provider I use its up to you who you want to pick I don't care.

gotta say AIRVPN looks a bit more legit from researching on the net, 54 Euro a year is still a bargain only works out to roughly $6aus a month

I've been using AirVPN for about 3 months now and am quite happy with the service. I would happily recommend them to anyone.

    It's dirty cheap!

    Sounds like money laundering. :D

  • My only experience of using a vpn was HMA and it slowed my speed way down. Does that happen with your vpn?

  • I couldn't find any information on their log file policy. Anyone else know?

Dont buy this VPN, i just did and i get speeds of 1 Megabit p/s at best. Considering reversing the Paypal transaction.

    • Was that thru the USA or others

      • It was slow everywhere. I found that USA west coast was fastest- faster than their Australian servers for some reason- but still slow. I tried every location they had, and they have them everywhere, but it didn't make much difference.

    • How do you measure what speed you are getting?

      • I'm guessing Speedtest before VPN then after. Or just general usage i.e. Streaming downloading etc and you'll see the difference.

  • What is VPN for?

      Subterfuge

i cant even begin to describe how happy i am using smartdns from overplay.net It is as fast as your usual bandwidth is and not slowed down by using vpn. Have a look: Only $4.95 per month

I find that hard to believe. What speed are you getting? Are you in Australia?

I just tried their connection speed test. Fastest I could get was US East coast 2772 kbps. My usual speed, minus vpn is 18000+ kbps

      • +1

Yes, that is for the vpn service. But for the smartdns service i can get maximum speed of 15000+ kps which is my max speed. This is because the smartdns service does not require a vpn or any software and streams video or audio websites at the ultimate possible speed.
I am in Australia and use it for netflix, hulu and bbc player. Also enabled it on my xbox and use netflix on that. Very easy to setup using their video instructions…

  • http://playmo.tv/ try this for 7 days, if you like it, $4.95/month
