Looking for 17 things to plug into this thing now …

  • Your super thin and light setup has to get plugged into a massive brick…

You're not supposed to carry this around with you. Works well for a desk.

      Or a massive dongle chain!
Miss ports on laptops but absolutely prefer ultralight + dock to lugging my old T520 around.

Weird design… why not the horizontal like others.
With many cables plugged probably cant stand still unless we glue it to the desk

When will companies start putting HDMI 2.1?

    • +2

      On the 27th September, I believe…

February 30 is what my uncle at BlitzWolf told me

        • +1

I heard Feb 31st, but lets see. Fingers crossed.

    • Which of the HDMI 2.1 features are you hoping to utilise from your laptop dock?

      • I use LG C2 42 as my primary monitor which only takes HDMI as inputs, and am always limited to 60Hz when connected through the dock(work laptop). 120Hz (when connected to my gaming PC) is wayy smoother and definitely worth it.

        • Cable Matters 8K DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter with 8K 60Hz or 4K 120 Hz Support in Black https://amzn.asia/d/18JNWtI

          • @McFly: You need a 8K 60 or 4K 120 DP for that in the first place. This dock is still 4K 60 on DP. But its good to know such cable converter exists :)
