Apple are offering 6 months free Apple TV+ for both new and existing subscribers who opt in on PS5. Strangely the deal is different for PS4, only seems to work for new subscribers.
In order to grab the deal I downloaded the Apple TV+ app on my PS5 and when I started it up it gave the option for a 6 month trial and changed my current subscription end date out to Jan 2024.

Don't think it works if you have claimed this offer before (like I did on my PS5). I created a PSN account for my wife on the same PS5, then opened the Apple TV app from her PS profile, signed up for the 6 month trial and had to login with her Apple ID. That worked.
I'm not sure if you can use the same Apple ID as before but I am guessing not.

New PSN ID + Apple ID should work (it did for me)
@bindok: I created a new Apple Id and tried it. Did not work. Afterwards I created a new PSN Id and it did not work. Maybe Apple already flagged the new account as i did it the wrong way around. I saw that the QR code changed after I changed the PSN Id.
I hate the "new subscriber only" option. They really think I would be more inclined to pay for a regular subscription because of that?
Right? It offered me the choice to sign up at full price. Like really, you just declined my six month deal and you think I’ll be inclined to give you money?

Just a heads up, I redeemed this deal a few weeks back on PS5, while I had an active subscription to AppleTV+. The deal also says you are able to do this with the PS5 offer, as long as you are not subscribed to a bundle deal such as Apple One. I also used the free 6 month trial that came with a new iPhone last year, and this offer still worked.
Can it be stacked with the Samsung offer to get 6 months or am I the only one who has seen that

For anyone who is interested, I claimed this offer a while back and then tried again today with a different account and it didn't work. Looks like you only get 1 x 6 month claim per PS5.
Same with me. Tried on my account, then my wife's (after resetting the App), and neither account could claim the 6 months from my PS5.
