  • So tesla doesn't come with mats?

    • +4

there is a subscription for that

    • Comes with carpet mats. Some prefer all weather mats.

    • +10

Always the obligatory toxic comment for Tesla’s posts. They come with mats but these are more protective towards all weather conditions (rain, sand, etc). But then again, you don’t care about knowing the answer obviously

      • +3

I don't see it as particularly toxic toward Tesla tho.. I see it as a generally silly question

        • -1

If that was the case a 5 second googling will give you the answer. Anyways, all good.

        • Because no one has ever asked the question: "So toyota/honda/audi/bmw doesn't come with mats?"

          • @leiiv: they don't tho.. at least 'technically' - they still remain an option albeit one that is probably most of the time unspokenly included. I goofed up when buying my car last time and focused solely on whittling down the price and didnt realise mats weren't included even though if you just buy outright they probably will include them as part of their sales pitch.

It seems to me that Tesla fans are the toxic ones. They are filthy on Twitter, and the obligatory negs for any minor perceived criticisms of Tesla in these Ozbargain comments prove it too, particularly as some comments below confirm that some Teslas didn't come with mats.

KeplersLaws is also correct that ALL cars technically don't come with mats and the car salespeople "throw it in for free" as part of the sales pitch.

    • +1

They do but they are the thinnest crapiest mats I’ve ever seen.

  • Tesla do come with carpet mats like every other car, these are all weather floor mats that you have to buy if you want extra protection

  • I can’t afford the Tesla, but this! Thanks OP!

  • Been told atto3 not come with mats.

    • +2

      Correct. It doesn’t.

  • +1

Finally, a Tesla product I can afford. Thanks, OP

  • +1

At this price, it better be self cleaning

  • FYI my Tesla Model 3 purchased in March 2021 didn't come with mats, though I believe they now do.

  • Expensive

  • +4

Recently got these for my parents at full price

You actually paid $360 for these? I bought the ones from crazyvictor on eBay and they’re great quality and about 30% cheaper. You can get the same kit minus the back seat protector for $160: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/295032346912

    • +1

Got the same from crazyvictor last month. $120 with 22% ebay plus promo.

    • The kits don't seem to be the same. Crazy Victor seems to be basic rubber ones similar what Toyota provides.
Listing in Amazon is more of a foamy rubber. So it's waterproof and has a cushion.

I bought ones similar to Amazon ones from TEMU. Had some crazy 200 dollar voucher.

If crazyvictor is the same product. Then definitely a steal!

    • Those in the ebay listing are TPE ones, Amazon ones are XPE.
Anyway, last month bought XPE for MY from crazyvictor for around $150 before 22% ebay plus discount. Fantastic quality and perfect fit.

  • This is what I brought a month ago for $98
But they jacked-up the price now
However I am pretty happy with the purchase

    Thanks for posting, purchased.

just saving up for Tesla Model Y now.

  • I recently bought equally good quality mats for MUCH cheaper off ebay
I got floor mats + trunk mat + frunk mat + tool compartment mat for a Model 3 ~$145

Same seller is also doing the Model Y mats too. They're water proof, correctly shaped, and quite well designed. So many places are just selling these mats at inflated prices. The mats in OPs post look basically identical, only difference is they're including back of the seat covers too but those won't get spills on them anyway!
