Both are good. My only issue is the Aldi ground ones only come in 500g at my local Aldi stores. Have never seen them in the 1kg ground range and they only sell the 1kg in the beans range (and I need ground coffee).
Aldi. They're fresher. Harris are always stale. I've rarely had a decent pack. Stopped buying them a while ago, even at this price, cause stale is stale.
Decent beans. Always on sale at Coles for 12 bucks.
Is that for the 1kg or 500g? I cannot recall ever seeing the 1kg for $12 in the past few years.

It's def 1 kg bag but they are getting rid all Harris brand coffee's. Only few items left.

I prefer Aldi but the quality of Aldi is not consistent in my opinion.
I'd rather spend a bit more for better beans. Lavazza 6/10 and 7/10 are decent. I like the Grinders, worth the extra in my opinion.

If I'm new to these beans which ones taste the most similar to Lazzio Medium Dark?
In my experience you need the darkest one.
Coles have home brand with 10/10 intensity, that tastes like good brand med dark roast. This should be the same.

Is this the new sale price? It was $13 at the end of last year.
Inflation
I liked the Harris beans i got from the last time it was this price and the beans were recently roasted. I've also bought specialty beans recently that were posted on here and didnt find them worth paying more than double the price of these.
