I purchased one for $228 with coupons about a month ago for shits and giggles. It's actually pretty good and I enjoy playing it to my surprise. I've only played through headphones as a quiet practice guitar. Only change I would make are quick release upper and lower frames.

    enables silent practice

This is not true. Quiet, yes. Silent, no. Vibrating strings will always make noticable sound.

    • Was yours the same as this for $228.00?

        Exactly the same. Same seller.

Edit: Just checked my purchase history. It was $228.98 on June 8.

Was so close to buying until I saw your comment mentioning you picked it up for cheaper. Now the Ozbarginer in me will not accept $275…
Looks pretty interesting though. Other colours available.

      • Same, I’ll pick one up immediately with that price.

I bought one for shits and giggles some time ago too, its surprisingly good but also quite weird. Note that I switched out the original strings, so your experience my vary.

      • It has a very small body even with the top and bottom frames so its very uncomfortable for me to hold, so I'd recommend using the strap so you don't have to try to find a comfortable position on your lap (spoiler, it doesn't exist)

      • The neck profile is a asymmetric gradient, odd but surprisingly good, just bit too steep for my liking. Just beware of this.

      • The headphone out doesn't sound too great, but will do in a pinch. But I'd highly recommend a acoustic or modelling amp to go with it. Something like the spark go is probably perfect.

Overall not bad, but not a good choice for a first guitar because of the mediocre to questionable sound and comfort.
But if you are looking for shits and giggles, or if you must have a silent guitar, then I suppose its a good choice.

Otherwise literally anything else that's a more standard acoustic shape would probably give you a better sound at this price.

I plugged the hush into my spark 40 for the first time this evening. Sound is pretty good.

I can't play for shit standing up (any guitar) so I've only used it sitting down and can find a comfortable position no problem. Never played it longer than 30 minutes in one sitting though.

  • Great concept!

  • Donner 😬
    Guitar 😞

  • Are they steel strings? (like on an acoustic guitar)
