This thing is a beast and looks compatibility small than what it dose but looks and feels premium to hold. I was looking for 4 port charging adapter like this for a while so that I can always carry with me for my laptop/tab/ mobile etc all in one. Check its power allocation, very impressive.

Using this for a while. I personally used HEYMIX products for years for all my phone laptop pad etc. (one time Had problem with their adapter but amazon replaced it in no time, also it was the beginning when they ware new after that never had any problem)

Can Get the White Colour as-well in following link.

Given the wrong wiring, and, potential lack of functionality on Heymix power boards, I would be avoiding the brand.

Don't know why the down votes. Here's a comment by an Ozbargain user - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/12996125/redir

It's also backed by reviewers on Amazon complete with pictures.

      • Don't know why the down votes.

An automatic warning needs to be attached to every HEYMIX deal to warn folks.
It still boggles my mind as to how they pass the SAA cerificaton process with such unsafe electrical products.

This is their new model. They sent me one recently.

Would buy if it comes with complementary house & contents insurance 😂.

Let he who has actually purchased a Heymix product and has had their house burn down, cast the first stone.

Personally I own several Heymix products and my house is still standing. Zyron seems to be Ozbargain's favourite child - I also have a Zyron charger (the equivalent model to this) and it buzzes and hisses like a snake in a beehive.

I'm not saying anything about the quality of either brand, just that blindly repeating some whinger who got a dud (of a totally different model) years ago isn't helping anyone.

      I agree with Nukkels.
I to have several Heymix products and I to haven’t had an issue with any of them, and it’s been more than a year or two.
I kind of laugh now at all the negative comments as it seems to be the same old remarks.

They've just shown on a bunch of occasions they have absolutely zero interest in providing properly designed, even moderately safe, products.

I don't want to plug them into my devices, and I don't want to financially reward companies that don't give a toss about their products or consumers.

      • +5

If that's your benchmark, not many companies are going to make the grade. Good luck buying food, putting petrol in your car, powering your home, having a bank account, etc.

I appreciate educating people about their ethics - but when it's all from the same Chinese supplier, the supposed 'fire risk' is the same… And this site is focused on finding the cheapest prices.

        • Strangely enough.. I bought. one of their chargers USB-c chargers a 2 years ago..
It was never quite right.. ports didn't deliver the right charge.. Heymix, sent out a repalcement which functioned, identically…

My wife starting using it for her HP laptop, the battery died literally a month later…
I replaced the battery with a new genuine battery.. it also died within 3 months..
Again I replaced the battery with a new geuine battery.. took the away the $60 heymix charger.. and the laptop and bettery are working fine.. year later..

I have stoped buying their chargers now …

@Kelvin: You actually think the charger killed the laptop battery? You really have no idea what you're talking about.

@[Deactivated]: I am not saying his statement is 100% true. However, I had a similar experience with a Heymix GAN charger (65W). It did evidently burnt my power bank. For my new ipad 9, it no longer turned on one day. I can’t 100% blame the charger for it but there is a probable chance it did cause it.

Regarding the original comment, I never saw OzB support Zyron consistently. I do know that Heymix sellers regard Zyron as their rival, even their enemy. Believe it or not, I received a letter from Heymix after continually leaving their negative review for my GAN charger. They claimed that I was Zyron and said something like “Do not worry, our competitors don’t know where you live”, pretty sketchy. Couldn’t trace back the AusPost letter (AusPost sucks). Seller is ChargerKing.

Honestly, any charger from a Chinese brand (excluding Anker) has always failed on me, Heymix is just another Chinese brand with not the best quality control.

@[Deactivated]: Are you suggesting it is impossible for a poorly built charger to deliver damaging voltages to a device?

              • -2

@DiscountForThee: Yes, I'm suggesting a GaN charger using a USB-C cable will not ruin a laptop battery. Please prove me wrong.

                • +1

@[Deactivated]: Yeah, I guess every USB charger ever made are all 100% compliant with industry and safety standards…

                  • -2

@DiscountForThee: Stop spreading nonsense on this site, You Heymix haters are so tedious. Provide some evidence for your hysteria or just shut it.

                    • @[Deactivated]: Have you been ignoring the dozens of links that have been posted? Like, you actually haven't seen them?

                      • -1

@DiscountForThee: I can dig up complaints about every charger ever made. I've been using Heymix chargers for years without issue. Every electronics manufacturer has defective units. Get a grip and stop wetting your knickers.

                        • @[Deactivated]: You seem personally upset by this. Maybe take a minute to think about why you're feeling so strongly about a brand of chargers?

                    • +2

@[Deactivated]: It's ok, you have your CCP social points today, let it go.

              • +2

@DiscountForThee: A bad "charger" can damage a battery, but the Heymix is not really a charger, just a power supply. The charge regulation is inside the laptop itself.

Laptops are tolerant of wide voltage ranges, but should refuse to charge if it is too far out.

                • @bargaino: Laptops are tolerant of a wide range, but a faulty power supply is very capable of damaging the circuits. If it was supplying, say, 3x nominal voltage it would be a problem and fry some things

            • @[Deactivated]: I think it's technically possible? If the laptop requests 20v, but the charger delivers something say 20.2v it could not be noticed by the laptop and put strain on the battery/buck converters?

Personally I own several Heymix products and my house is still standing.

Absolute genius level of understanding risk and probability 🤦‍♂️

This is the same line of logic of "my friends drive drunk all the time and they've never crashed. I don't see what the deal is". Genius

      pretty much this.

I have a heymix 120W (this charger, but in white) and a zyron 65W, they both seem to work great as chargers - the only thing I dislike is that both do a quick 'disconnect' when a USB-C port begins charging e.g. I have laptop and ipad plugged in, then plug in my phone - the power to both of them will drop out for an instant and then reconnect.

Not a problem with devices to be charged, but it may be a problem if you're running a travel router on it (I can't speak for everything but my GL.iNet Mango and Shadow ride out the switch, whereas an RPi gets reset - I don't know if a thirstier router would stay up)

Neither of mine give any hiss/buzz - yet. knock on wood (boith zyron and heymix have been getting plenty of use for a year or two.

    I've personally been using this:
    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005061354906.html

Comes with a nifty LED display and cheap to boot. Only thing is you'll need an adaptor or an australian figure 8 plug you have lying around.

    • I do like the LED display. Any impression on how accurate that wattage figure is?

Personally I prefer devices with the separate cable because powerpoints are rarely where I want the charger and 25cm cables are cheaper and smaller for travelling.

  • Have an older 65w model that I have been using for over a year, very tempted on this because the missus keeps stealing my one as it charges her phone quicker

    • This is overkill for a phone

“ This thing is a beast.”

    Yeah, a dragon 🐉 🔥

I got this sent by Heymix recently as replacement to my other 120 Gan charger that started heating excessively and suddenly stopped working. No fires obviously as mentioned in some negative comments.

So far this one is working fine.

We have a few heymix chargers in our house. No problems.
