More of a PSA, yes it's RRP
Boost have finally increased their highest data plan to 365gb/12 months. - 30gb/month which is live
All the perks of the Telstra network without the cost and finally a reasonable data allowance.
Still no e-sim though…

all the perks of telstra tho
*capped at 150mb/s
exactly.
where else can you get 1GB for $1 capped at 150Mb with no included internationals?
all the damn perks, yo
Good point, the other 12-month packs include those, eg. https://boost.com.au/products/200-prepaid-sim.
Also this post doesn't seem like a deal worth posting.
I'd expect there'd be some decent postpaid offer that's $30/month (like this pack), have more than 30 GB/month (so more than this deal) and includes some extras. And don't require you to fork out $365 upfront.
A dollar a day
Keeps the tax man away?
Its Jim Charmers at my door again!!!!!
Dr Jim, I didn't ask for a house call! Why are your hands in my pockets? Bend over and say what?
What’s the hold up with eSIM.. even crappy little MVNO’s like Kogan have eSIM support…
Telstra most likely. Not allowing their MVNOs on esim and using it as a differentiator
Woolworths mobile is a Telstra MVNO and supports eSim - https://mobile.woolworths.com.au/mobile-phone/esim
Probs Telstra just being Telstra as they actually own Boost
As far as I know (and unless it's changed recently), Telstra do not own Boost.
They provide the services to Boost under contract, and it was extended for 10 years back in 2021.
@aleayr: If you talk to Telstra, they will say they own Boost hence why it’s under their app program etc, it’s annoying as if you port out of Boost to say, get the JB deals, they say you were a Telstra customer, you have to wait 30 days with another carrier.
@aleayr: Boost has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Telstra for a while now. Their page no longer shows it though, as it's now directly under Telstra Limited. https://boost.com.au/pages/telstra-changes
@Cousin IT: Do you have any news announcing the acquisition of the brand? Media etc? That article simply is an annoucement of which legal entity of Telstra hold Boost subscribers data.
I can find nothing of note, and in a few places, still lists Peter Adderton as the owner of Boost, operating under Boost Tel Pty Ltd.
There is no dispute that Telstra provides virtually all Boost's services, but Telstra has their Belong brand, and I can't find any evidence they actually bought the Boost brand as well.
It's been a common misconception for years that Telstra owns Boost, and I haven't seen anything to the contrary.
So this is rrp, with less inclusions ie. international calls. Why is this a being posted ?
Standard Price - No Bargain. Should live in Forum
I called forum, unfortunately it's an international call and I'm contracted to Boost so it has to stay posted here for the next 365 days.
Customer service is atrocious as is all of their user interface bits, but through a combination of complaints (valid) and errors on Boost's behalf, I'm currently halfway through my second consecutive free 365 day sim. Very strange business model they have, but I'm not asking questions.
After the year is up, what are recharge prices like? Can you recharge for a similar price for another year?
$300 gets you 500gb and a shitty phone from Kogan, but you're on the vodaphone network. Not sure this here is a deal at all…
Came off from this, the data was great, but the reception was beyond terrible. They really have crippled it unfortunately.
Anyone know if you can put one of these pre-paid Boost sims in a cellular ipad pro 9.7 from a few years ago and use the data as a just-in-case backup. Think the iPad only does 4g from memory.
Thanks.
I can't see any reason why that wouldn't work
It’s now $320 and stack with $30 cashback via Cashrewards
Can we use this to rechage for existing Boost customers?
And doesn't include international calls
