I have never received a single point from any car hire and I regularly hire cars for business purposes. Also the cashback right now is 8% so you are better off booking through them than this code.

  100% in the same boat.
  Never once (that I know of) got Qantas points from Avis and in a rental usually once a month or so.
  The cashback "usually" works though.

  Definitely a thing with Avis, i have received qantas points in the past (although not that much)… talking like 700 points for a 7-8 day hire. Probably better off using the cashback though…

  Always get my Qantas points with Avis. Always use cash rewards as well as my corporate discount. Q points are credited at full price too.
