  Have a look at the screen door effect before you fall on the specs to see if your eyes are ok with it. I went to JB last time and I ssw they/asus guys tried to hide it with dark colour profile. I then changed the settings to white background and the screen door effect was so much visible that I couldn't even think of working on word docs etc.. but it depends on your eyes how it react to it.. have a look at the screen in person with pure white background before you pull the trigger.. but if you are always/mostly on extended screen,then its a good laptop forthe spec.

    do they make the pixels too small? I think the grid is common on big screen with low resolution. This is a 2880 x 1800 screen, it should not have gaps
